Mum woke me up really early this morning , crying her eyes out.We went downstairs and turned on our radio.The radio speaker told us that there is going to be a war against Germany.All kids would be evacuated to the countryside and all men would need to leave to fight against the Nazis.How would I be able to live without my parents? I'm only 12.Dad said that everything will be okay and I will be safe in the countryside but I don't want to go! I want to stay here with my mum and dad.Mum told me that I have no choice and I will be going to the train station next Monday.
