The sirens went off that day.There were loads of bombs going off.We sat in our little shelter and waited for hours on end.I went to sleep because I was scared to death,Mum woke me up boasting with joy ,as the bomb spree had finished and we could finally use our daily rations at the shop.
Later that evening,I saw German planes flying over , it looked like they were on their way to the north.I hope that everything will be okay.That night we didn't want to risk anything so we stayed in our bomb shelter.
