I finally had eyes looking at me now. It felt good to be noticed, even if it wasn’t from Miles. I didn’t need his attention anymore, even though I was getting it. I came to school and eyes popped out of their sockets when they saw me wearing tight jeans and a shirt halfway revealing my perky friends. My hips swayed & switched grabbing all the boys eyes.

Aleah looked down. Her eyes had bags like she wasn’t getting any sleep. I felt bad about what had happen and the measure I had to take to get the right attention from her, but heck it was worth it! We sat at lunch together as she barely touched her food. I ate my peanut butter and jelly and gulped down my chocolate milk.

I saw George walking towards us with his hand bawled into a fist .I figured he was coming to speak to Aleah. I felt a heavy hand at my shoulder, and turned to see him standing behind me with a evil villain smile.

“So I hear you have something that belongs to me.” He said as he scratched the side of his head.

“I don’t know what you are talking about.” I said as I turned my attention back to my lunch.

George yanked me up from the table from my freshly straighten hair before I even had time to sip my chocolate milk, causing it to spill all over my pants.

All eyes shifted to us and it wasn’t for the same reason that it had originally been.

“I tried to be nice to your black ass! But now I’m demanding my phone back!” he said as he wrapped his huge hands around my neck, squeezing the life out of me.

“Get off of her! Get off of my sister!”Aleah tried to pull his hands from around my neck but he pushed her down with one hand while he still had my neck in his other, sending her flying across the filthy cafeteria floor.

Miles rushed George and hit him in the back of the head with his lunch tray. George wasn’t fazed a bit, but that took his attention away from me and shifted it to Miles. George gave one swift punch to Miles across his lip and blood flew from his mouth in the same motion. Miles fell to the ground and George began stumping Miles chest.

Where is the damn security when you need them? I scrambled through my purse and retrieved George’s Phone.

“HERE!HERE! Now please! Stop hurting him!” I yelled while waving his phone in the air as trade for Miles life. He immediately stopped stomping Miles and snatched the phone from me.

“Now you know better than to take from me girl!” he said as glared revealing that evil smile. He walked away looking through his phone.

I kneeled down to Miles side as he choked on his blood. He was gasping and holding his side.

“Thankyou.” I said to him

“You know I wouldn’t let anyone hurt my best friend.” He said as he wiped blood from his mouth.

“By the way your look, beautiful today.” He said in his struggle.

Miles was taken to the hospital and had two broken ribs. Only punishment George received was suspension. See that’s the treatment you get for being a star ball player, popular and feared.
