Falling for Gray

Chapter 1 - Where it all started

Ethan, Grayson, Cam and I have known each other since we were really small and We've pretty much been best friends ever since.

I'm Alexa your average 16 year old girl, that hates school, loves Internet and loves Pizza.

Today was the day I was moving in with Cam and the twins and I was over the moon excited to be living with my 3 besties. "Hey, Cam come help me lift this out of the truck" I tell her. We lift the set of drawers into my soon to be bedroom and placed them on the hard wood floor next to my bed. "Thanks" I smile at her, dusting my hands off even though there was nothing on them. "Where's Ethan and Gray?" I ask Cam. "They went skateboarding in the carpark building again" She rolled her eyes. I laugh.

We finish unpacking and flopped down on the sofa. "What's for dinner?" She asks me. "Takeout" I say sighing. I don't think any of us were prepared to be living on our own. "We're back!" We hear Ethan say, Slamming the front door as they walk inside. "Hey!" Cam and I both say. "Hey, Alexa!!!" Gray jumps on me thinking I was gonna catch him. He falls to the floor. I sit on top of him. "Now you can't get up" I stick my tongue out at him. "Get a room you two" Ethan says, now grabbing chips out of the cupboard. I giggle.

I give Gray a hand up off the floor. It was almost dark outside now and we were hungry. "Can we go get food now? Pleaseeeeee!" Ethan Complains. "Yeah pleaseeee!" I say looking at Cam since she's the oldest and has a car. "Fine" she rolls her eyes. We lock up the apartment and took the elevator down to the bottom level. "Shotgun!" Ethan yells touching the car. Gray and I jump in the back, not even arguing."What should we get then?" Cam asks turning around looking at us. "How about in n out?" Gray suggests. We all agree.

The car ride was fun. Blasting music while people stare at you at the traffic lights is always embarrassing but still awesome. Gray reaches for my hand, and intertwines his fingers between mine. I smile at him. "Your adorable" He whispers into my ear over the loud music. I smile wider. He tucks the loose hair falling down behind my ear. "Look at the love birds" Ethan says to Cam. She looks in the rear vision mirror and smiles. "Aweeeee" she says concentrating back to the road.

We pull into the in n' out burger drive thru. We all tell Cam what we want and she speaks into the machine box thing. I was excited to eat and so was everyone else.

We eventually got the large amount of food and drove back to the apartment. "Who wants a Netflix night?" I ask unlocking the door to the apartment. "I can't I have to study" Ethan says sadly. "Cam? Gray?" I look at them. "I have um.. Stuff to do, maybe another time?" Cam winks at me and taps Gray on the head. "I guess it's just us two then?" He shrugs.

"Let me go put my pj's on first though" I say to Gray. "Ok I will too" He replies.

I chose my "Namaste in bed" pj's to wear. I walked out and began cooking some buttered popcorn in the microwave. Gray walked out with about 10 million blankets in his arms. "Slumber Party!" He screams in his best girl voice ever. I laugh historically. He places them on the floor and brings out two mattresses from the Hallway. "We're sleeping out here tonight" he explains. I nod watching him lay out all the blankets, pillows, and then he also walked out with two buckets, yes buckets, of m&m's. "Damn Gray, you're great" I keep my eyes on the buckets as he places them on the table. "I know" he says sarcastically flicking his long wavy hair which he doesn't have.

Once the popcorn had finished popping, I brought the bowl down to where he was sitting I placed it on his lap. I turned off the lights and cuddled up to Gray on the mattresses. He wrapped his arm around me. "What do you wanna watch?" He asks scrolling through the millions of movies that there were. "I don't mind, you pick" I say. "No, you pick" he nudges me. "Noooo, you pick" I nudge him back. No, Alexa you Pick!" He picks me up and begins tickling me. "GRAYYYYY STOPPPP!!" I laugh till my guts hurt. "Say you'll pick" he demands still tickling me. "FINEEEE, I'LL PICK!!" I scream. He places me softly back down on the mattress. "Thank you" he says handing me the remote. I snatch it off him. He laughs at me, adorably.

I scroll through the movies, hoping to come across one we both might like. "How about Annie?" I ask cheerfully. He knew this has been my favourite movie since we were little kids. "Ok babe" he says smirking. "Babe now is it?" I look at him. "Deal with it" He sassily says. "Ok, whatever you say babe" I giggle. "You're too cute" He says touching my nose. I cuddle in closer to him......
