Oliver was in his tight little stable at the bottom of the yard eating hay.
Jessica was getting ready to go see her new horse at SilverShoes Stables.Little did Jessy know, that she had just bought with her own money, the meanest horse on the block. Oliver just wanted to be left alone, every day that same thought was in his head, Olly just could not let go of that day even if he tried and he did every day from that day 4 years ago. "Jessy we are almost here" said the girls mom, "Mom" Jess asked, "Yes dear" the woman replied, "what if this horse isn't what I've been dreaming about for 9 years?" the girl said with a sad and low voice.. Jessy's mom stood there for a second to think what to say, "Um, he will be Jess and if he isn't well your the best rider around I'm sure you could change him?" The girls mom said with a unconfident voice, Jessy immediately replied "NO, i mean his personality, i don't care how he moves and stuff what about him" her mom paused for a few minutes and was about to say something till she choked it down, she didn't know what to say
*As you might be thinking, Oh Oliver is the worst horse he cant jump for his life, well think again my friends*
Oliver may be the meanest and toughest horse around but he is certainly the best in the arena, if someone came along and trained him to be fit he would be able to jump that 1m 70cm again in no time. But as well as being a bully he was also stubborn so it may be a bit harder for someone to come along and teach who's boss
*Thank goodness we are finally here* Thought Jess, she got out of the car and inspected the place from rock to saddle. Jessy was so exited she couldn't wait to meet her new horse, but she didn't know where he was. She was looking all around the barn but he wasn't there, there was only one other place he could be and that is down in the yard. Jess went down and she stopped, she stopped at the sight of the most beautiful horse she had ever seen.. He was big, his chestnutty coat shined in the light of the sun and his eyes were jet black, he had a white stripe down the middle of his narrow face and four white socks.. one on each leg, this was him this is the horse she had been dreaming about for all those years. Jessica slowly started to walk up to the animal about 10 meters away from her. She was starring in his eyes and surprisingly he was starring back, Oliver had his full focus on the girl in front of him, for the first time in forever he stopped thinking about that awful thought in his mind, he was happy but he didn't know why, this was just a normal every single day person
Jessica had reached the chestnut she was only and few inches away from him they had their full focus on each other, she stood there, he stood there, her long brown hair was waving around in the summer breeze, his almost blond with a hint of chestnut mane and tail were blowing as well somehow there was a bond there but neither of them new how, they had never ever seen each other before. Jess made a decision and she decided to put her hand on his muzzle, she didn't know he was aggressive and didn't show signs of hurting her, she closed her eyes reached her hand out and touched Oliver's big and soft muzzle. Olly started to breath heavily he didn't know what he thought of this, but he allowed her to start petting him on his neck and his back, he hadn't had that feeling in over 4 years and he loved it, he was so relaxed he genteelly started to lie down when he was fully on the ground Jess sat beside him and said "Your so sweet" Oliver took that as a compliment and rested his head on her knees and she just kept petting him
The owner of the yard and Jess's mom went to see if she had found him, The owner looked terrified and Jessy's mom copped it she asked "whats wrong" the owner was still starring but she was able to blurt out "GET AWAY FROM HIM" Oliver heard it and got up in fright, he started to gallop away from the girl and was soon not seen, "HES DANGEROUS" the owner shouted again, with Jess's mom in shock she ran down to her daughter, and asked her what she was doing Jess replied "I was petting, MY, horse" her mom looked confused she said "But didn't you hear mrs Jones, she said he was dangerous", "MOM" she shouted "THAT WAS MY HORSE, he is the horse I bought with my money" Jess's mom smiled and said "Ok, I'll go tell Mrs. Jones that he is the horse you bought", "well he IS the only chestnut here so, he has to be" they hugged and walk up to Mrs. Jones, her mom said what she promised and Jessica explained what she was doing.
