She could hear her heart beating in her ears , her footsteps seemed to echo even in the middle of so much noise. Her mind blank but also filled with hundreds of thoughts , things that probably wouldn't seem important to most people.
"Let's go! Let's go!"
She was brought out of her endless thoughts by her excited friend who was skipping ahead. She walked faster to catch up and they both stood in awe at the view from the huge window in the airport.
"This is actually happening"
She said turning to her friend.
They stood in an almost surreal moment before being interrupted by a voice overhead annuncing their flight.
They walked toward the doors that would lead them to a seemingly new world and that's where their adventure began.
