'Babe, let's go.' I called out for Jade.
'Alright I'm coming.' She walked down the stairs looking beautiful as ever.
'You look beautiful.' I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me.
'Thank you. I tried, I tried.'. I brushed through her red long hair and leaned in.
'Don't we have to go now?' She pulled back and smirked.
I chuckled and grabbed my car keys from the coffee table. I followed her to my car and as soon as we stepped in we drove off to Tiara.
Today it's Amiyah's birthday. She's turning 1 years old I bought her a little present, well.. Little for now. I chuckled at the thought. I hope Tiara likes it too though.
After 25 minutes of driving we finally pulled up at her house. I stepped out and opened the door for Jade.
'Aw, what a gentleman.' She pecked me on my lips and I grabbed her hand. We walked to the front door and knocked.
'Oh hey.' Tiara smiled as she opened the door.
'Hey.' I hugged her and pulled back again.
'Hey Dashawn .' She turned to Jade.
'Hey Jade.'
'Hey Tiara, where's the birthday girl?' They hugged and I walked further to the living room.
A smile appeared on her face as soon as she saw me, my girl.
'Daddy!' She jumped on my leg and I picked her up.
'Happy birthday, baby.' I kissed her on her cheek and hugged her tight.
'Do you want your birthday present?' She nodded her head fast.
I put her down on two legs again,'Alright wait here, okay?'
'Okay.'
I walked back to the car and opened the trunk. I took the cage from the trunk and walked quietly back inside.
'Guess what daddy and Jade bought for you?' I asked her smiling.
She start jumping around and smiled widely,'What is it? What is it?'
I put the cage down on the floor and opened her small door. The little dog ran right out and started jumping around.
'Puppy!!' Amiyah jumped around and wrapped her little arms around my neck.
'You like it?'
She nodded fast and gave me a kiss on my cheek.
I picked her up again and looked at Tiara who was smiling widely. A small tear fell down her cheek.
'How you gonna name it?' I asked Amiyah.
She made a funny thinking face,'Summer.'
'That's a good name. Now go play with Summer.' I put her down and she immediately start playing with her puppy.
I walked over Tiara and she smiled,'You did a good job, Dashawn. She loves it.'
'I know,' I chuckled,'I know.'

Today was Amiyah's birthday! She finally turned one years old and I can remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. My baby girl is growing up and the thought of it makes me cry, and before all of this started I really thought all of it was a mistake but I've learn to have gotten the good out of it.
