My (attempt at) Poetry

My Mind Intervenes

I'm looking up

I'm thinking down

My thoughts swirl in a cup

Causing me to drown

I fight for my heart

My mind intervenes

I cannot start

Inventing different scenes

I try to imagine

A place far away

Nothing will happen

Nothing causes my mind to sway

My heart is hollow 

There is nothing to be

I am left to wallow

And drown in self pity

I refuse to stop exsisting

I will not leave

This world consisting 

Of people who know nothing of me

....................
