Why can't people just accept each other. Its so sadning, the fact that people so cruelly judge eachother by skin color,gender,religion, or sexual orientation. I don't care what your religion is, it doesn't give you the right to be ignorant. What happened to god loves all his children. Apparently something written in an old book means more than treating fellow humans with respect. I was talking to one of my lesbian friends. She was telling me how she had come out to her mom and that her mom accepted her for who she was. A boy overheard us and said "that's bad parenting". I couldn't help but think, no bad parenting is raising your child to be hateful to everyone that isn't the same as him. All you see on the news today is how people are being targeted for there race. It depresses me to know that so many people over look people's personality and only see the color of their skin.
Another thing that I want to talk about is religion. You see people like Hitler and groups like Isis who kill people because of what they believe in. It doesn't matter all religions have the same principal. A higher power than us. Most people believe these things because they want there to be something after death. In realality no religion is wrong none of them can be proven. So therefore it is really just something to put faith in. We should just accept the fact that everyone believes in different things and none of them are wrong.
In conclusion it doesn't matter if someone is gay, lesbian,bisexual, Transgender, black, white, mexican, or anything else. At the end of the day we are all human beings with lives, families, and people who love us. We should be teaching acceptance not hate. So please spread this message of love and please just treat people with respect.
