Chapter 31: 1789

Sehun's pov:

I merely looked at the woman who gave the offer. She is staring at me which makes me agitated to speak. Just then, D.O hyung came and said," You should not have just run like that. You are still under testing."

That girl. She must be the one that Suho hyung brought home with the council lady. The lady then came to me and stared at my face. I am really creeped out right now. She then smiled and asked," I can show you."

I scoffed and said," What do you mean? It is not like you can teleport me to the past or something."

The girl then said," Actually, I can. Not teleport but just show you."

I then realized that the lady is sitting on my lap. I don't know what kind of situation this is but it seems rather. I rather not say it. Just then, D.O hyung came to the rescue and pulled off my lap. I can finally breathe. Not a single lady have been this intimate with me before. D.O hyung then said," Don't be like that, Hayley."

The young lady, Hayley, then smiled at D.O hyung and said," I know a spell to help him."

She then move forward and stare at me and continued," Since your memories are all messed up, It is safe to let you see some."

Her smile disappeared and asked," Are you willing to accept the challenge?"

She then moved away. She sigh and said," It's okay if you don't want to because I am not forcing you."

D.O hyung was about to say something when I cut him off by saying," I'll do it."

I stood up and got my butt of the sofa. I look at D.O hyung, who seems to be worried about me. I gave him a reassuring smile and said," Sorry hyung. I have to find out who I am. I have been waiting for this moment for ten years."

D.O hyung is still not convinced that the spell will be safe. Just then, Hayley said," Don't worry. I'll make sure he'll be back safely."

Hayley then look at me and continued," Sehun, is it? Well, Sehun. Your mind is not recovered from the memory lost hence I only can show or unlock a few of your memories to be safe."

I then took the risk and asked her,"What is the risk for unlocking all the memories?"

Hayley then shrugged her shoulders and said," Well all I know is that you'll be trap in a nightmare for life. What nightmare? I don't know."

I gulped at that statement as it reminds me of the Kai golden hair incident. There is no way I am going to be like that again, once is enough. Hayley then laughed and said," It's okay. I won't let that happen. I only can unlock 3 memories. So choose carefully of what you want to know."

I paused for a moment and think. What I want to know? I think I might know. I smiled at them and answered," I want to know three things and I hope that I have them. Firstly, I want to know how I ended up in that coffin that I was found in ten years ago. Second, I want to know the first time I met Kris. I have the feeling that our first meeting is not ten years ago. Thirdly, I want to know the dispute between the family I lived in and my parents."

Hayley smiled and moved forward. She grabbed my arm and use her long and sharp nails to cut it. Blood is flowing at my forearm. She then used one of Chanyeol's notebooks found at the coffee table and tore a blank page. The wound is healed but the blood still remains. She then took my blood and draw a weird symbol. She then took some of her blood and smear it on my right cheek. She chant some weird language. Her eyes start to glow purple and she muttered to me," Be careful."

That's all I heard before I passed out.

I woke up in a weird place. I was like in a forest. But what was I doing here? I then found a cottage in a distant. I slowly walked towards that place. When I was halfway there, I heard a crash and an ear piercing scream. Without any hesitation, I ran towards that place. I found out that I was like a ghost in this world when I just ran pass through the front door. I then saw a young toddler crying in a corner. I also saw a woman lying down on the floor, dead, with blood pooling everywhere.
