Chapter 8

Jane's P.O.V

I take the bat in both of my hands and i keep hitting the body .

I hear a loud groan and the person gets up and push me against the wall.

The lights turn on and i see Joe with an angry look on his face and i drop the bat.

"What the hell ... So now you choose to attack me" He yells and i feel a knot down my stomach.

"I am so sorry .. I didn't know it was you... I am so sorry" I say and he continues to yell.

His eyes are red.. How did he drive back here.. His knuckles are not bleeding but he smells like Hennessey and tequila.

"Who else would it be" He yells
And i run the bedroom to turn my phone of so the girls wouldn't hear his voice and think it's probably provenzano and call the cops.

I text them saying I'm falling alseep and turn my phone off.

When i turn around Joe is behind me with a angry and confused look on his face.

"I taught it was provenzano because i saw him in the lobby" I tell him and his expression softens.

Then he looks angry again.

"What the hell did he say to you.. I'm breaking his head if he comes near the whole eleven floor.. What did he tell you" He say and i studder to answer.

"Your not answering me so that means said Someting" He say and walk out of the room .

I sit on the bed and run my hands thru my hair thinking about what I'll say to him.

By the time i realize i hear noise from thw kitchen and i run out.

Joe is breaking all the plates in the kitchen.

"Joe stop it" I yell at him but he doesn't even look at me.

He open the cabinet and yank it out with one hand throw it to the ground and i shriek and step back.

"Please stop" I yell at him thru the tears.

He walks to the dining table and throw the chairs across the room and i run to go grab his arm.

"Please stop.. I'm begging you stop" I yell at him

"If you know what's good for you..you'll leave me alone" He growls and my tears continues to fall.

"Please..stop.. I need you to comfort me and help stop the tears..not make more" I tell him

He stops his actions and look at me straight in the eyes and sighs.

"I don't want to loose you" He say and hug me with his bloody arms and i cry in his arms.

"I told you to change your school but you said no" He say as he cups me cheek to look down at me.

"I don't want to leave my friends" I cry more and he wipes them away.

"Are your friends worth loosing your life for..i Don't want to loose you.. What if he tries to stab you again" He say as he he looks at the mark on my left arm.

"What.the.hell.did.he.say.to.you" He ask in a cold low tone.

"He didn't see me.. I saw him and ran the stairs" I tell him

"You ran eleven floors" He ask

"That's not the point" I tell him as we hear a knock on the door and i start to shake.

"Get in the room and close it now" He whispers to me and i obey.

I watch him as he grabs the bat and walk to get a knife put it in his pocket.

I enter the room and lock the door with my ears against the door.

Roman's P.O.V

I'm ready to fight for her... I'm ready to loose my life for her if i have to.

I open the door and see three teenage girls and my heart drop.

One is short with red hair who looks hispanic.. Another has black skin with long hair and the other is a white girl with her hair in a ponytail.

They all look at the bat in my hand and look at each other again.

"Where's Jane" The dark skin girl ask me.

"I don't know who your talking about" I tell them and try to close the door but they stop me.

"Why are you in her apartment.. Why is her apartment looking like this and also why do you have a bat" Another girl say.

"I don't know what your talking about" I say but they don't look intimated at all with my bat.

"I was here earlier this morning with jane.. I just left around 6 pm roman and i know damn well my best friend is in that room so you better let me in right now" The hispanic looking girl growls.

Of course she knows me.

"OMG i think his with provenzano" One of them say

"I'm protecting her from him" I say

"So you do know jane...liar" The dark skin girl say and walk past me.

"What the hell happend in her" She ask as she enters and the other girls run inside then look at the place.

"Where's jane.. How are you protecting her from a monster if her apartment looks like this" One of them say.

I can't keep up with all them asking me all this question.

I close the door and look at them.

I take the knife out of my pocket and they all look scared.

"OMG..What did you do to her" They all ask looking scared and confused.

"Jane..Jane..where are you" They all start screaming for jane and i roll my eyes.

Dear Lord.

Jane open the door and has a confused look on her face when she see her friends then see the knife in my hand.

I drop the knife on the counter and they all run towards jane.

They hug her and start to cry.

They are all crying.

Lord help me.
