*Darkness is all I could see. The walls seemed to be closing in and I started to panic. "This is fake! I-I know it is!" I said out loud. Something slammed my head into the wall and my breaths began to shorten. The lights flickers and the last thing I saw was a tall figure.*
I woke up screaming, tears screaming down my face. "W-what was that!" I said quietly. My pillow was soaked and I lay face down on my sheets. Eventually I had to get out of bed, for it was my first day working at my new job. In my reflection were cold, dead eyes. They looked as if they were beaten and restless. I rubbed my eyes to see that nothing was there except for my red eyes from crying. I walked back to my room to get dressed when I heard my closet door shift. Annoyed I called out,
"Really Nia? Just stop." I walked over to the closet and opened it to find it empty besides my clothes."What is wrong with me today?" I muttered and went back to getting dressed. I put on some jeans and a green tee shirt and headed downstairs to go to Mr.Green's house. I grappled a cereal bar then headed to my car. "I'll just get the GPS on the car" I said to myself. After I was on the highway to the neighborhood I turned on Melanie Martinez and started blasting songs like a true Crybaby. The music stopped. "What the hell? That was the best part!" I hit the play button over and over until the sound of a cracked record came on the radio. It said;
*h-haunted... Don't go to.. Gree-.. Evil.. Don't- trus-*
It cut out and went back to my normal station. I sat staring at my steering wheel.*what the heck! Must just be the stupid audio.* I drove the rest of the way in silence.
