Water filled the space around them and Anna could fill her hope drain, she could do anything she set her mind to and would always believe the best, but noting could change now. Elsa was alone, she was probably in danger, and Arendelle was in danger as well. Kristoff worked at the ropes around his wrists and she couldn't even watch, what was even the use.
All her thoughts roamed and she didn't even speak, watching her fiancé try his hardest to save them. Anna turned her gaze to him and watched the worry on his face as she lifted his chin, his head turning to see her at the feel of her touch. "I...Anna of Arendelle promise to love and cherish you," Her voice was weak and the sound of her own voice made her cry. "Whoa, what are you doing?" Kristoff kept his gaze on her. "Marrying you before we die," Her eyes shut tightly and her body grew limp, cold reliving from her heart.
"No, you don't get to marry me until we get out of this," He hugged her tightly, feeling her head fall on his shoulder. Kristoff pressed a kiss to her cheek and took her hand in his, feeling the sliver band around her finger, the metal as cold as ice. "I love you," He could her the strange silence now growing. "I love you, too," Anna replied, squeezing his hand. Water climbed higher and he glanced at Anna, noticing her eyes were shut. "Anna?" His speech was filled with stutters. She didn't reply and he couldn't hear her breathe.
Her skin was freezing and he couldn't take it anymore, trying everything possible to get out. "Anna!" He couldn't even remember how many times he said her name. Tears fell from his eyes and he shook her, nothing happening like before, he pulled her back into his arms, kissing her forehead and sitting up straighter to avoid the water for as long a possible.
The chest stilled and Kristoff quickly pushed it open, meeting warm air. He looked around, noticing Elsa, he watched her slowly sit up. She was probably wondering if this was real, just like him. He slowly got out of the chest, picking Anna up in is arms, not even daring to look down at her again. Elsa hurried over, her eyes locked on Anna, she just stood there watching her. Kristoff lowered his head, noticing the heartbreaking silence coming from his future sister-in-law. The necklace fell from her hands and she fell to her knees, like before. He watched for a final time, the shine of her ring in the clouded sunlight.
