The Flight

"OMG!!" Me and Lidia squealed.

"I can't believe that were actually going to New York Fashion Week!! I mean seriously, who would've thought?!" I exclaimed.

"I know right! Wouldn't it be so cool if we got spotted and then got to be featured in Elle, better if Vogue!" Lidia cried.

"That would be so cool!" I exclaimed, "but, that would only happen in my wildest dreams.' I sighed.

"Don't worry, I'm sure it'll happen soon, sooner than you'll know." Lidia said consoling me.

We both walked of to WHSmith, just waiting for what was to come.

"Please take your seats, fasten your seatbelts and get ready to set sale to the Big Apple, where dreams are made." Said the voice over on the plane.

We had just taken our seats and we were now listening to the voice over. I know they're all about health and safety but I know how to protect myself, I'm not 2 years old. Although, to be honest, I wasn't listening anyway.

"Some minor turbulences may occur but don't worry just keep calm stay seated and it'll will be fine." It says reassuring us. "I hope you enjoy travelling with us, refreshments and earphones will be on their way soon."

I pop one of my freshly bought Bubblemint Extra Chewing Gums into my mouth and chew, which will hopefully relief the pain of the air pressure. And as I do so I flick open my new Vogue magazine and start reading the first issue.

As the plane takes of I think to myself:

"Its a new dawn, its new day... and I'm feeling good."

It's about 2 hours later and I've caught up with a few episodes of Pretty Little Liars, when I'm interrupted my my little brat of sisters, Hannah and Lauren.

"Corinne," they whine, "we want to watch." They complain in unison, giving me the most ridiculously ugly pouty expressions on their faces ever known to man kind.

"Ok," I say whilst giving of a little smirk, 'I've got a little secret for you," I whisper turning around to check that nobody was listening.

"YEAH! Please tell us!" Hannah pleaded leaning in so she can hear better.

"Yeah me too, I promise I won't say anything" Lauren begged, putting on really weird constipated puppy dog eyes.

"Ok, since your so intrigued it's..." I say staring into their eager eyes trying not to laugh my head off, "I...don't...care." I say leaning back putting my earphones back into my ears.

"Hmph" says Hannah.

"Yeah. Hmph" says Lauren.

"Haha LOL!" I say teasing them whilst sticking my tongue out at them. It was getting to a really good but in PLL. I was not going to miss that, and I wasn't going to let them listen to it especially because I don't think that my mum would appreciate them hearing swearing. And finally because they had just figured out who 'A' was... drama. It was getting tense.

"OMG OMG OMG..OMG!!" I squealed. I can't actually believe that I'm in New York Lidia had to literally pin me down or I would probably shoot up because I was jumping, my mum told me to take deep breaths because my heartbeat was way faster than usual, then my sisters just glared at me and stuck their tongues out cause they were probably still angry at me because of my 'secret'.

"Corinne, you need to calm down. In.. Out.. In.. Out." My mum constructed me.

"What?!" I practically screamed, getting alot of dirty looks from the people who had just woken up. "How can you actually tell me to calm down. Were in New York City, where dreams are made, the big apple, shall I go on?" I question with huge amount if sass. "I mean think if all the shopping on Fifth Avenue, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Micheal Kors. And all the fashion shows we have booked. Topshop, Mulberry, Burberry, I mean Tanya Burr, literally always goes to the Topshop Show, wouldn't it be so cool if we met her." I ramble on.

"That would be really cool, but Corinne I think you're gonna be bankrupt at the end of this trip." Lidia said chuckling at me.

"Oh who cares, were in New York City!" I shout getting shot those looks again, "Sorry," I say apologetically. But in my head I keep on chanting Ney York City, New York City, New York City!! Shopping, Shopping, Shopping, Fashion, Fashion Fashion!!!
