The Basement

The Beginning

                                                                              -Chapter One-   

      Today, I saw a basement, that was caged off. So, I asked my English teacher why cause he's been here since the school open 100 years ago.

         He said, "Student Safety." No explanation no nothing! Just, "Student Safety"! So, tonight I'm gonna see what's down there!

         It was midnight when I reached the school. It's a new moon tonight. So, there isn't much light. Deftly and quickly I reached the basement. I pick the lock easily and began my slow descent. I turn on my flashlight. When I reach the bottom, I saw a corpse! Then, I tripped and scraped my knee. The corpse moved! Or maybe it was just my imagination. I looked down to see I was bleeding a little. When I glanced up, I was met by blood red glowing eyes! As I fell back, the corpse, which was in a black straight jacket looking thing, moved to where a small pool of blood had formed and licked it up! Though The blood on my knee had already dried and scabbed. Then the creature stood up and broke through the straps! Standing, he was tall, pale, and had long black hair that looked as if it hadn't been cut in a hundred years. He looked at me and smiled, I saw a fang, I think. Just my imagination. Then he kneeled, bowed his head, and put his hand over his heart and said in a deep voice, "I am Alucard. Who are you, my new master?" I had a hard lump in my throat, from fear and shock. I swallowed it somehow, and stuttered, " I-I-I'm ...." Then I fainted.

                                                                             -Chapter Two-

            When I came to, I was in MY room, in My bed. I looked at the clock , it said that it was three in the morning. I turned on my lamp. To find that the creature was there, in my room in a chair, watching me sleep. When he saw I was awake, he stood and thanked me for getting him out of the basement. He had hear all of the heartbeats and chatter for the 100 years of the school. I began to feel sorry for him. "My name is October, you asked earlier. Some people call me Scarlet or Onyx." I said suddenly, I'm not a big fan of awkward silence. Then, I remember the fang, and asked, "What are you?" He looked stunned, then said, "I must have forgotten to tell you I am a vampire. One of the strongest, and you are my master. I will do as you order me to, without hesitation." Well, That's a lot to take in. A 15 year-old girl is the master to a powerful vampire? But, I was tried so, I fell back asleep. While sleepily noticing I was still wearing all of my clothes......... Darn.
