Roxie pov:
After introducing Joe to my family, he headed back to his area of the beach and I ate my ice cream.
After an hour of doing beachy things, mum declared that it was finally time to head home so we started to go home.
As we walked I heard Joe calling my name.
"You go to the car I'll meet you there in a few", I tell mum whilst walking towards Joe.
"Ok", mum reply.
"Yes Joe?" I ask when I approach him.
"I just realised something ".
"And that is?"
"I never got your number he said with a slight smirk on his face.
"I guess I'm going home with digits then", I say, quite happily.
~~~ back at home ~~~
Once we're home I run up the stairs and followed joes instructions by texting him. I said 'hi it me, Roxie.' Almost immediately after the text had sent, I had a reply.
R- Roxie. J- Joe.
R- hi it's me, Roxie
J- I saved your number remember so of course I know it's you lol.
R- yeah but oh well.
J- yeah anyway hi.
R- hi you told me to text you when I get home so I did.
J- yep I know.
R- so what do you want?
J- I want to FaceTime you.
R- ok
