Sabrina's POV

I was awaken by my phone ringing but I wasn't awake enough to answer it. A minute after, it stopped ringing and I checked who it was, it was Core-bear. Luckily, voicemail saved the day.

"Hey, pumpkin. Can't go to school, kind of important. I'll see you tomorrow! Bye!"

Should I go to school today? Of course I have to, stupid law. Since it's still so early and I can't go back to sleep anymore, I decided to get ready for school.

After getting ready with 1 hour and 30 minutes to spare, I decided that it would be best to walk instead. I would take the bus but I don't want to 'interact' with the other students there. And I used to like walking to school with Peyton. Peyton, hmm, how is that guy anyway? I don't know if I love him anymore. I don't think I even miss that guy.

I started walking, I had my earphones on and there I was looking like some weirdo pretending she's in music video but who cares? Then a car beside me stopped and I got my earphones out. I checked who it was to see that it was Pey. Okay, never mind what I said earlier because just seeing his face made my heart burst out from my body, not being with him doesn't make a difference.

"Want a ride to school?" He offered.

"No." I smiled.

"Is this because of yesterday?" He asked.

"No, I just really want to walk to school today." I responded, I mean it's 23% true.

"Okay then." He responded back and I see his car go so fast, did that guy just leave? I can't believe it!

I put my earphones back on and started walking again, it was all so calm until I saw a face directly in front of me.

"AHHHHHHHH!" I scream at his face.

"Still afraid of everything, eh? And next time, if you scream, please don't get your saliva on my face, you know it's rude." He joked and I smacked his chest.

"Why are you here, Pey? I thought you already went ahead." I said.

"I did. Didn't you see me? Kidding, I went ahead to park my car somewhere to walk with you." He responded.

"Why?" I asked with the most confusing face I can make.

"To save gas, duh. Just kidding, sabby. I guess I just miss walking with you to school and talking to you but don't get too conceited." He joked and we both laughed.

"I'm really sorry for stopping you yesterday, I just didn't want you guys to get physical. I'm really sorry for what happened yesterday." He apologized, and I felt the sincerity.

"It's okay, I'm sorry for screaming at her and saying things that must've hurt her." I apologized and he smiled.

"You know those comebacks were in our bucket list, right?" He asked smiling.

"Yeah. I was so excited to scratch that off our bucket list." I said smiling.

"But remember when you checked 'go to school in a banana costume.' on our bucketlist."  He said and we both laughed so hard remembering that day.

"Who could forget B1 and B2? Hahaha! Remember when we shared one big shirt to the mall? We basically looked like twins who were still attached to each other." I shared another memory.

"We were never embarrassed." He exclaimed.

"Cause we had each other." I responded and we both find ourselves looking at each other staring intently until we suddenly hear the bell. I thought I had so much time to spare but walking with him make time pass by so fast.

"I'll go to my first class, bye pey." I started walking so fast. I don't want to ruin his relationship with Rowan. I was so close to confessing earlier. Corey, help me.

The day was as boring as ever. Especially with no big brother, no one to talk to. Fortunately, there was no drama either. I went home as soon as the bell rung. I took the bus because I didn't want to see Pey, he may walk with me or offer to drive me home.

By the time I got home, I went directly to my room. Then I suddenly see someone sitting on my bed.

"AHHHH! Wait, Corey?" I suddenly realize that it was just Corey.

"Pumpkin! You scared me!" He exclaimed.

"Well, the feeling's mutual! What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I have news about my dad, he's getting married. Since you're my sis, you have to attend." He exclaimed.

"Wow, congrats! If you'll have another sister please don't forget me. Is the woman nice? " I asked.

"Of course, I'll never forget you. I never thought step mothers would be nice, but I'm glad she'll be my step mom. She's pretty, smart, nice and loving. I'm happy my dad met her years ago. And-" He was cut off by my mom entering the room.

"Sab, I have to tell you something later and... Corey? What are you doing here?" My mom asked.

"Miss Elizabeth? How are you related to Sab?" Corey asked.

"I'm her mother, Corey." Then I see Corey looking so shocked.

"What's going on? Mom, how are you related to Corey?" I then asked.

"I'll be marrying his father, sab." She said then I was the one shocked.

After 4 minutes, we finally got our senses back after being so shocked.

"That means, you'll really be my big brother?!" I screamed and hugged him and we all laughed.

"I thought this would be hard but thank you for understanding, Sab." She said with the biggest smile on her face.

"I just want you happy, mom." We all smiled.

"The wedding is in 2 weeks, make sure to invite Peyton, Sab. And Corey, your dad told me you had to bring Rowan!"   She looked so excited so we had to say yes then she went out of the room.

"Hey, my official big brother." I greeted him.

"Hey, my official pumpkin. Let's go buy you a dress for the dance. It's in two days and knowing you, you still don't know what to wear." He smiled.

"Thank you for making my life great, Core-bear." I smiled.

"It's my job to." He exclaimed.

Other than my love problems, life's definitely great.
