first day

"Hey, get up, Kariah!"

Great it's morning. I would rather kill myself than go to school.

"I'm up Harr!"

I strolled into my room. What should I wear? I took another look at the dress code. No flip-flops, blah, blah, blah, no high heels, blah.

I settled on a pair of ripped jeans with a black sparkly tank top. I had a pair of black sandals and a long silver necklace.

Harrison said he would drive me to school on his way to work. We rode in silence and enjoyed the captivating view of the water.

He walked in with me to go to the front office for my schedule. I drifted off and started thinking about Kalin as the secretary explained where everything was. At least not knowing where to go gave me an excuse to talk to Cameron

I strolled to my locker carelessly, hoping I would accidentaly bump into Cam.

"Ah" I said as I ran into someone who seemed odly familiar. It was Kehlani, and beside her was Cam. "Great" I thought.

"Watch where you're going little girl"

"Sorry"

Kehlani sashayed away, but still Cam lingered.

"Um, hi" He said with a sheepish look on his face.

"Hey, I'm Kariah"

"Oh. That's a cool name. Reminds me of my friend Kalin's. I'm -"

"Cameron, yeah I know"

"You follow me on vine?"

"Yeah. "

"What's your schedule?"

I handed Cam my schedule.

"Oh cool we have all the same classes!"

"That's good I guess."

We started walking I figured he was going to class...I was mistaken.

He led me to an empty room. I didn't know what to do.

"I'm not trying to get all sexual with you or anything I just wanted a place where we can talk."

"Oh" I said relieved.

"You like Kalin right?"

"Oh my gosh. How do you know?!"

" 1) you have his name on your wrist and 2) you fan girl about him on twitter all the time... Anyway I think I can help."

"Really?"

"Yeah here's my number. Text me later, I'm leaving early today. Pick you up at 6 for a party?"

"A party?"

"Trust me, you'll have the time of you're life." He said with a smirk.

Cam left in 2nd period. I had went to the bathroom right before he left. As I walked through the hall, Kalin caught my eye. He saw me and mumbled something to Cameron and they left.

I spent the rest of the day wondering what this "party" was all about. I guess I'll find out at 6...

"I'm home, mom."

Mom came stolling into the living room. "Oh hey sweetie."

"Can I go to a party with my friend Cam?"

"Will there be drinking?"

"No mom" I answered, remembering she asks the same questions every time.

"I guess"

"Thanks mom, I'm leaving at 6."

I went upstairs to get ready. What do I wear? I texted Cam.

To me: jeans?? Simple and comfy😏💭
To Cam😜:okay I trust you.

I picked jeans and a miami heat t-shirt. I flattened my hair, touched up my makeup and I was ready.

To me: I'm outside. Aren't I??
To Cam😜:yeah coming

"Bye mom"

"Bye baby"

I walked to Cam's car. "Panda" by Desiigner, played low but recognizable.

"Ready?"he said like he had a big, dangerous plan...
