( Warning, I have decided to do a good old time skip. I completely think it has gotten pretty stale with the Slice of Life stuff. While I do find it important for characters' relationships to develop in front of the viewer, I have no idea what to do to continue the story. Besides, I want to keep it exciting and fun for me. Also also, don't forget Italics means it is Vincent writing in his diary.)
It has been a week since I have met Ashley, she is somehow more odd than Duke. She can do things that I don't see Duke doing often, she is absolutely loud and obnoxious at times. Definitely reminds me of why I...Never mind about that, I need to move onto something that doesn't bring up the past. That is all behind me now, and it should remain that way unless old demons want to tangle with me again.
I wish she would stop coming over so often, she is immature, childish, and overly pesky. I have a hard time that Ozzy tolerates her so much, I also question if this is a regular occurrence. She is messy, unorganized, and worst of all she keeps calling me PLUM. Duke and Ozzy find it adorable, but I hate it with almost every fiber of my being and I have yet to understand why she persists with this. I apologize for the short entry, but if I keep going I fear I just might keep repeating myself.
With that, Vincent closed his journal with a frown. He felt more bitter than a lemon head. He opened a drawer in his nightstand that was beside his bed, he placed his journal in there before he had closed it. He let out a deep, long sigh as he looked at his watch. It was only 9:33 a.m. He had roughly three hours to kill before Ashley would come barging into the castle. He had no idea what to do, but he could start by making breakfast for himself, he should get dressed for the day first. He put on black slacks and a purple long-sleeved polo, he took a few minutes to decide to put on a yellow vest. He decided against the idea after pondering on it, he put his watch on and adjusted his sleeve over it. Then he completed his outfit with a black silk ribbon bowtie, after he was done he brushed his hair and put it in a low hanging ponytail.
He remembered that Ozzy and Duke were really strict on not walking around the house with outdoor shoes, so he glumly put on black plain-looking slippers. He finally descended toward the kitchen, it was a bit chilly like usual. He did really have to ask Duke and Ozzy why the house was always so cold. The castle was purely made of a crystal material, something you would see in books of fiction. It was gorgeous, and unfortunately slippery. Vincent ungracefully fell down on his back, he had luckily only hit his head on the smooth flooring with a small amount of force. He checked for any blood as he groaned quietly to himself, part of him hoped he didn't awake Duke or Ozzy.
When there was no blood or to Vincent's knowledge, he got up feeling his head pound and grunted in displeasure. He hoped he wouldn't get a headache from it, he carefully made his way to the kitchen. The kitchen was not sectioned off from the castle, the hallway opened right into it.
To Vincent's left, there was a section of wall dedicated to a big window. There gave the onlooker a wonderful view of the garden outside of the kitchen. Vincent noticed a glass sliding door that allowed access to it. To the right was counters made of black and white marble, stainless steel toaster with four slots, a matching fridge with an ice cube dispenser in it, a sink to the left of the fridge, a dishwasher to the left of the sink. Vincent looked up to see a chandelier made from a different colored crystal than the rest of the crystals, the normal crystal was a glacial blue. The chandelier faded into an amethyst purple, somehow it could glow which Vincent didn't understand then again; Duke and Ozzy were clearly not ordinary humans, just took on humanoid forms.
Vincent washed his hands before proceeding to make himself something to eat. Just four slices of toast scrambled eggs with pepper for seasoning and six strips of bacon. Not much, but it was something and something is better than nothing, Vincent thought before he began to eat his bacon first. It was lightly salted, which he supposed would make sense since Ozzy was very athletic. Ozzy was also encouraging Duke to eat more healthily too, Duke loved gorging on sweets and typically anything fattening. Ever since Vincent had arrived, Duke has put on quite a bit of weight.
Vincent shrugged before he finished his breakfast after he had washed off his dirty dishes and put his dishes in the drying rack. He pulled up his sleeve to check the time once more, it was 9:54 a.m. He sighed while he tugged his sleeve back down. He pondered on what to do next, he could wander around the castle; the back of his head throbbed as if to remain him of how not graceful he was.
He huffed, he walked slowly back to the entrance of the massive building. He saw the giant double-doored, somewhat like the chandelier the doors faded into more of white color in the crystal. He couldn't quite see how the doors function properly and curiosity got the best of him, so he started to get closer to inspect the doors, however, when he did he saw his reflection was distorted. His eyes were a Crismon red, his teeth were placed outside of his mouth and he wasn't human. There were like a predatory monster's, he touched where a massive tooth would have been. It wasn't there, but he saw his fingers came to a point. Around his reflection's wrist was a black shackle with a gunmetal grey chain hooking to it.
He was startled by a familiar person's voice, "Wow, I haven't seen such a damned soul like yours in a while." They said this made Vincent turn around seeing Ashley standing ten feet away.
~Wow, 1057 words roughly. Definitely stopping this part here. Sorry for the long part, I will try to keep the parts under 700 and about 300. I see some of the paragraphs are Thicccc. But let me know your thoughts and questions, I do enjoy reading your responses and I will try to answer them. Thank you for those who lefts votes :)~
