After what seemed like hours of running, the two sisters finally arrived at the avenue. The darkness was a like a thick, damp and chilling blanket that clung to every inch of the starry night.
"Where are they?" Prim whispered.
Bryn shrugged, "I don't know. It's seven, right?"
Prim walked towards the nearest coffee shop and gazed into the window - envying the crisp warmth just feet away. "It's ten past eight." They sighed as they sat down on the sidewalk, a feeling of defeat clouding their thoughts.
"I was sure that - that this time it would've worked." Bryn croaked, placing her palm on her forehead.
"I know. I was too."
"I just don't understand. The letter was the only hope we had and I ruined the chance for you and I to figure this out."
"You? You didn't ruin anything! I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you!" Prim said, hugging her older sister.
"Why do we have to live like this?" she said, burying her head in her knees.
No words were said as all hints of warmth dispersed. The night was left unhindered by the recent thoughts that took place, a bitter breeze biting the already cold night air. The girls laid next to each other on the cobbled pathway. "Goodnight..."

The buildings were silhouettes among the crimson sky, the scathing morning breeze piercing into the two girls.
"Prim, wake up!" Bryn called out, shaking her younger sister.
"W-What?" Prim replied, weary and croaky.
"We better get going now."
"But, where are we?" she said, sitting up.
"U-Um... I don't know, the same place?"
They were perhaps in the same place they were the night before though the darkness frazzled the two young minds and it seemed as if they had been moved. They sat on a sidewalk with homey buildings freckling the edges of the street.
"Did we move?" Prim asked.
"I-I think so, wait - look over there!" She pointed towards what looked like an unpainted canvas - white, pure and merely a barrier.
They both stood up and ran towards it. The girls pushed and felt the entire 'white part' but it seemed as if they were stuck. "Go check over there!" Bryn yelled, pointing towards the other direction. Prim ran over to the other area though it is was transparent, displaying like a normal street would - without an end. Though as she felt it, it was a barrier - she couldn't get through and it frightened both of them. They examined all the buildings - looking inside merely to see pitch darkness.
They were sealed in.
Author's Note:
--Sorry for the rather short chapter - any feedback would be appreciated! I was really set on ending it at "Goodnight..." though it would've been really short, so excuse the rather 'meh' ending. Keep in mind I write for fun and there are definitely areas in which I need to improve on! Look forward to Part 4 coming soon!--
