amber pulls up infront of what she thinks is his house she walks up to the door knocking lightly an older man answeres the door his eyes blood shot and he stunk of achohal ambers heart begins to race she feels sick to her stomach remembering her nightmares.

"u-umm i-is peter h-here?" he looks amber up and down she looks at the ground feeling terrified.

"peter some girls here to pick you up" he turns and walks away amber shakes trying not to remember that night its not even the same person she repeats in her head. peter runs up to her hugging her tightly she couldnt move tho his father staring at her she pushes him off shutting the door and moving to her bike

"h-hey amber y-you alright?" peter asks her as she hands him a bike helmet

"yeah just peachy" she doesnt look at him she pulls out her cigeratte lighting one and inhaling deeply trying to hide her panic attack

"a-amber y-you smoke?!?!?" peter nearly shouts he wanted to rip it right out of her mouth tell her to stop but he held back

"yeah and dont give me that its not healthy for you speach i know its not but who gives a shit" peter looks at her a soft sweet look in his eyes.

"i know we just met but i care about you and i dont want you to smoke it could kill you" peter speaks softly so softly she barley hears him. Amber looks at him through the corner of her eye and smile sadly as she puts out the cigarette saving the other half.

"Sadly that's what I'm hoping for" amber says cold heartedly peter stares at her shocked he didnt know what to say he set the helmet down and hugged her he was an inch or two taller he pulled her close and just held her at first ambers body stiffened from the sudden hug but soon she relaxes and hugs back burrying her face in the cook of his neck dropping the ciggerate next to her bike. she inhales deeply he smelt so good this might have sounded creepy but it was true he smelt kind of like baked goods like he worked at a bakery which made her hold him even closer. "thank you peter but tell anyone about this and you might be walking home" amber giggles softly but kind of serious

"i promise i wont thank you for being so kind so sweet just thank you for making me feel welcomed" peter pulls away from her slowly which made amber kind of sad she wanted to hug a little longer the last time she hugged someone it was her mother as she died. Was she ready to tell Peter everything maybe maybe not
