I barely got any sleep last night. All I kept on thinking about was Royalty's face expression and her question popping in my head. I really didnt meant to do no wrong. Specially to her, might she believe it or not, she still special to me and means something. I looked at my phone and it was 5:35 am. The sun was already outside and the birds were shirping, but I still couldnt sleep. I layed on my stomach and turned my head to the right and closed my eyes......Nothing!!!!

I gave up, got up and got ready to go exercise for a bit. I jogged a couple of blocks.to the highways and back, push ups. Sit ups, you name it and I did it. By the time I finished it was already 8:45. I took a shower and threw on fresh clothes, layed on my bed and shuffled through snapchat, where Royal posted a pic of her and her face expression complainning about how she couldnt sleep and had to get ready for track. I hit her up bothering her, like I always do. Hoping that she was in a good mood towars me.

Me- morning beautiful!

I was surprised that Royal didnt take long to reply.

Royal- Morning *sleepy emoji*

Me- Lol aww. How was your sleep?

Royal: barely slept.

Me: how come?.....was it about last night?

Royal: I guess so-- yeah. But I really don't feel like talking about it.

I sighed and placed my phone on my chest as I was thinking about what to say to her.

Me- ok, well good luck on your invitational today.

Royal- thanks, J-Z and yall coming right?

Me- I'll see what I can do. Aint making promises though

Royal- Boy you acting like im asking you to come. There is a reason why I said "yall" not "you"

Me- ok rude. But I was just playing. "We'll" I'll be there.

Royal- ok

Me- aight.

And with that the conversation finsihed. I got up from bed and began to shuffle through my closet for something to wear. It was. gonna be hella hot today.

ROYALTY'S POV

This place wad filled with people, it all crowed and you could barely even hear yourself. I turned the volume all the way up, which wad a lil pointless cause I could still hear some noise. People began cheering and calling my name as me and team made our way to our spot. I was ready for this race. I promised myself that on this race was where I was gonna make history and be top 1 in the county and more.

I spotted Kenya on the other side. Stretching and doing warm ups. I settled down and began to stretch.

J'zon:(approaching) yo wassup baby sis!!!!

I removed my headphones and hanged them on my neck giving him a hug. Rick, Bry and LJ were with him as well.

Me:(to Bry) you came!

Bry: bruh...

Me: how yall guys get in here? This is athlete zone only.

J'zon: we all athletes here. Girl, you dont remember?!? Our team back then made and is still making the school what it is. (Smiles big)

I rolled my eyes as he kept going on and on. Dont even know why I asked. They hanged here for a little bit until coach said it was time for our warm up run and to sign for our events.

J'zon: (gives her a bear hug) Good Luck sis!!!!! (Kisses her cheek) even though you dont need it.(smiles)

Me: (smiles and hugs back) Thanks. Love you big bro (messes up his hair)
