Bad Blood part 4

Travis's POV:
The news bulletin that has just interrupted our show started sounding. "Warning: My Street has become a quarantined area. There appears to be a pathogen in the air that attaches to carbon organisms that no longer function in their own. We can't be sure of the origins just yet. We highly recommend you lock yourselves in your homes and avoid going outside unless you can defend yourself."

Zane curled closer to me shaking. I hold him gently. I look at Garroth and mouth 'Plan Zombie right?' He nods and I pick Zane up bringing him to the basement. Garroth and Laurance come down with a few weapons. They go back and forth until we have everything useful down in my room. At that point we barricade the door and turn on the radio. I look to my bed and Zane has fallen asleep. I smile and curl up next to him. "One of you two take first okay? I'll take second." They nod and soon Laurance joins us on the bed. The three of us somehow fall asleep.

I wake up maybe 3-4 hours later to Garroth shaking my gently. "Your watch" I nod and grab a sword with an emerald green handle.

"Go sleep." He doesn't even respond he just lays next to Laurance and falls asleep almost immediately. I sit by the door listening and waiting. I almost fall asleep multiple times. Suddenly as if out of nowhere there are footsteps. They're slow and clunky. I quickly wake up Laurance leaving the two brothers in the bed.

"Why didn't you wake them?"

"Zane's scared out of his mind and Garroth had first watch." Laurance nods.

"Why?"

"Listen" I motion towards the door. He does and looks alarmed.

"There's more than one."

"Shit! Do we have any sort of exit?"

"Um... Not that I know of." I quickly look around and find a small window. It looked just big enough to leave through but we'd have to leave the majority of our supplies.

"Laurance!" He rushed over and nodded.

"I'll get the boys. You gather what you can and get it through. Weapons and any supplies."

We were about to get to work when the radio starts broadcasting. "MyStreet there is a rescue zone near 'Aphmau's' Residence" We start rushing and hurry outside. Slowly but surely we reach our roof and sit on it with the radio. Garroth had a sword and any easily perished food. Laurance had a sword and our medical supplies. Zane has a bat and a lot of water. I had the sword I grabbed earlier and some Non-perishables.

"MyStreet it has come to our attention that being bitten by the organisms could be deadly. We will be arriving in a helicopter." I watch for a while and eventually see it approach. As I go to signal it when I notice something off about it. I watch it more and realize that it had the creatures dangling from the bottom.

"Everyone DUCK!" We do and watch as the helicopter crashes into the street.

"There goes that" Laurance mutters. We all set up camp on the roof and go to sleep Laurance taking first watch this time.

Third POV:
Out on the streets everyone was fighting. Jeffory and Katelyn were fighting to protect Abby. Aaron and Aphmau were working together. Kawaii~Chan was working with Nicole and Dante. But not everything was well. One of the creatures snuck behind the jefflyn trio and bit Abby.

"Dad..."

"What is it Abby?"

"I'm scared"

"Why sweetie?" Katelyn just so happens to turn her head towards Abby.

"JEFFORY SHES BEEN BIT" He starts sobbing and hugging her.

"It'll be okay Abby. Everything's going to be fine. Daddy won't let anyone hurt you." They happen to be backed up against the Guy's house at the time. They climb up but Laurance won't let Abby up.

"She's been bit. She either loses the limb. Or she's One of them."

"No one is touching my baby."

"Then she isn't coming up here. I am not about to risk the safety of my boyfriend."

"Then I'm not coming either. Katelyn?" He motions for her to come with. She looks between Laurance and Jeffory. Safety? Or Love?

Yes I know I'm an asshole for ending this here. However I have an announcement!!!! SociallyAwkwardTy and I will be collabing a sequel(?) to their Zanvis fic. When the dark meets the light. I'm not going to be saying much else except that it Will bring in New people.
