The Run

Announcement

It was odd that Nova is so calm in this situation. I mean I was freaking out and he was like a frog sitting in a pond. I said,

"Hi, my names .... ummm," Nova looked at me in a way that meant *go on* but I couldn't think of my name. "I don't remember.." I finally said. "In fact, I don't remember anything before that dark room."

He looked at me weird and after a long time of silence (besides the screaming in the background) he said,

"Do you not trust me enough to tell me your name?.. I thought we just helped each other?.."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He seemed so sad because I couldn't tell him my name that he looked like he wanted to die.

"I'm sorry," I said, "but it's the truth. I cannot remember my name or if I have any family or... anything." He looked at me for a a little while and quickly hugged me as if he hasn't seen me in 20 years. I finally broke away as after 2 minutes of him smooshing my body. 

In a way.. It sort of felt nice to know that I had a friend (or at least some sort of acquaintance) that I could depend on.. He didn't seem very bright. He reminded me of a child. Finally I asked, 

" Do you know where we are?" and he looked around and put his hand up to his mouth and said, 
"Ohhh. This is one of the cathedrals before we begin the game." I couldn't believe what I just heard.

A game? What is he talking about? And why was he so calm about this entire mess???

At this time, the cobblestone walls were already surrounding us and all of these monsters. The mirrors vanished but the monsters were still screaming besides some that have settled down.

Quickly after my thoughts were trying to connect to some sort of answer for this whole mess, a woman's voice entered the shrieking cathedral but no woman appeared, it was just a voice saying,

"Welcome lady's and monsters! I know you all are scared and are wanting questions, but all of you are hear for a reason. You could consider it a punishment, or, for the organizations sake, entertainment! The last one to survive will be rewarded but there will also be a consequence thats a secret! I hope all of you the best of luck, don't forget to try to stay alive!"
