My blade sliced this neck. Blood poured out; it covered my clothes and face. There was no noise as I hurtled across the roof engulfed by the darkness. Leaving the blood stained cobblestones and what was left of the victim, adrenalin rushed through my veins. I stopped for a moment, staring up into the endless black and ebony cloak smothering the sky; no stars shone tonight. I turned and ran for my life.
