Bree's Pov

I was stunned. I didn't know what to say. I mean yes I like Kaz, and he is kinda cute. Wow, maybe this is more than friendship. "I, I don't know what to say Kaz. I guess I can only say what I want to. Yes," I said smiling. The looked of joy on his face surprised me.

"I um, well, when would you like to go?" he asked me nervously. This must've been his first time asking someone out.

"I guess tomorrow at six. Is that a good time?" I asked. He nodded. "Yeah, it's great. I have to go um, do something," Kaz said and walked away. I smiled at his nervousness.

-Time skip next day-

I was so busy getting ready. I wanted to look nice, don't ask me why. I keep telling myself this is Kaz I am going out with, but each time i get more determined to look nice. "Okay does this look good?" I asked Skylar who was helping me.She laughed.

"Bree, this is Kaz. What are you so worried about?" she asked. I shrugged. "I honestly don't know. It's weird, when I tell myself that it's just Kaz, I get even more flustered," I answered.

"Sounds like this is more then friendship," Skylar said teasingly. "Oh stop," I said playfully slapping her. "Well how do I look?" she looked me over. I was wearing a light blue short dress with rind-stone or something like that at the top.  And I had on silver heels.

And I had on silver heels

"Lovely. Now go!" she said. She pushed me out the door and I went out. There was Kaz waiting for me. I smiled as I came over to him. "You look, um beautiful Bree," he said. Okay, I do not know what is happening to me, I never thought that I actually liked Kaz, but tonight he looks incredibly handsome.

"I guess you are ready to go?" I asked. He nodded. "Uh yeah, we should probably get going. Um should I drive or do you...?" I cut him off. "I'l drive!" Kaz, plus car, equals trouble. I got in the driver's seat and we drove to Mexican restaurant.

Kaz's Pov.

We were having a really good time actually. I never thought she'd say yes. But this has probably been the best day of my life. I don't really know if she really has feelings for me, or if she just came with me just because she pities me.

"Hey, um Bree, once we're done here, do you want to like go to the park?" I asked. She nodded. "Sure Kaz. I'm almost done here," she said. We finished our food and went to the park. The sun had almost set so we got to watch the sunset.

"Wow. That's really beautiful," Bree said. "Yeah it sure is," I said and grabbed her hand. Her breathing quickened. Suddenly I laughed. "Look! That cloud is shaping a penguin!" I said. She laughed. She has the prettiest laugh.

"You're a strange guy Kaz," she said. We walked through the park for a while and then I stopped suddenly. "Bree," I started. "Yes Kaz?" "W-why did you come with me tonight?" I asked. She looked at me strangely. "Like what do you mean, I came because I wanted to, I guess, because I like you," she said. She likes me? "Bree," I said again. "Yeah?" Bree answered. I pulled her closer to me and she wrapped her arms around my neck. And then we kissed. I kissed her again and again. Finally she pulled back.

"I guess this is more than friendship," she said. "I hoped you'd say that," I said. "Well, um it's getting late, we should be getting home," Bree said. I nodded. Though I didn't really want to leave her. I wish that we could have every minute together. But, that wasn't exactly possible. This time I drove. She fell asleep in the car but woke up when we got there.

"You didn't kill us. That's pretty good for you," she said jokingly. I smiled. We went up to her room and I stood in front of the door to tell her good-night.

"Good-night Bree. I guess I'll see you in the morning," I said. "Good-night Kaz," she answered. I kissed her lightly on the lips and then went to my own room. Definitely best night ever.
