A/N: I hoping to update it faster. This chapter is just one of three chapters I have already planned to update.
I just wanted to give this chapter early.
A few months later
Everything in Polis was going swimmingly for Lexa, peace and happiness were routine. As well as her relationship with Clarke, was going very well. Lauren was growing up healthy. She already knows how to take her first steps, and socialize with everyone, even though she still doesn't know how to speak properly. For Lexa, everything was complete, she used to think she might die at any time, but now she will die happy ... very happy.
It was a beautiful sunny morning, and Clarke convinced Lexa to stay outdoors for Lauren "to get" the sun. So she can get her full vitamins ideal for a child growth phase. Lexa and Clarke were sitting face to face on the field, five meters apart, and Lauren in their midst trying to run.
"All right, little one!" Lexa said while grabbing Lauren who was running towards her. She give a pat on Lauren's bottom.
Lauren gave a loud guffaw, and turns and runs toward Clarke, who waited for her with open arms.
"You are very beautiful!" Clarke kissed Lauren on her cheek and tickled her lower belly. She laughed incessantly.
Lauren left her mother tickles and ran towards Lexa, who was smiling widely.
"Carke" Lauren said as she came close to Lexa.
"What?" Lexa stared at the girl. "What did you say?" she asked.
"Carke" ... Mom!" Lauren pointed to the blonde, who heard, and was paralyzed.
Clarke approached the two, sitting in front of Lexa and Lauren, her eyes brimming with emotion listening to her daughter call her Mom and saying her name.
"New Speech ..." Clarke asked, looking at Lauren.
"Carke" Lauren put her little hand on the blonde's face. "Mom." She said.
Clarke swallowed hard, trying to contain the emotion and tears that began to catch in her throat.
"Oh my God!" Clarke pulled the little one giving her a big hug, as the tears streamed down her face.
Lexa was also thrilled by what she heard. Her sweet child saying the name of Clarke melted her heart. How such a small girl with gestures as simple as one, completely destroyed the powerful Heda, commander of the 12 clans? To Lexa, this maternal feeling was still a novelty and pleasure that the girl gave her was greater than everything in her life.
"I'm a little jealous, can I participate in this hug?" Lexa pouted.
Clarke just smiled and then, Lexa came closer of the two, embraced them with all the love in the world.
"Mother ..." Lauren said, making Clarke and Lexa become loose in the embrace and look at her. "Mother!" Lauren pointed to Lexa.
Clarke had a huge smile that could light up Polis. Lexa followed paralyzed while listening to the child, calling you mother. Lauren could be a little kid, but was too smart for her age. She took an easy practice to differentiate the two.
"Mom ..." Lauren pointed to Clarke. "Mother." She pointed to Lexa.
Lexa didn't know how to react to Lauren, much less Clarke. The little black hair girl on my shoulders with bangs on her forehead. The big green emerald eyes, and bright white skin was giving the air of her grace. The first words she said clearly and associate correctly. Before she said disjointed words and somewhat confused ones, but now she called her mother in a beautiful and different way. The spirit of a child is the most beautiful thing in the world, so full of light, innocence and no prejudice or intolerance. The two created you and were always there, so automatically in your little head, the two were their mothers, the two most important things in your life so short.
