"Well the first time we played the game we took some of our worst enemies, annoying co-workers, cheating ex's, and so on. The person who I was excited to throw in the ring was Marie. I couldn't let the word get out that I killed three people already, so she was the best choice. I asked everyone to come over for a small gathering. At the "party" I proposed a game. Lizzie accepted the request, as planned, and we began with our naive victims. I remember it like it was one month, thirteen days, twenty one hours, thirty four minutes, and sixteen seconds ago. Oh wait...it was!" Abby let out a psychotic giggle, and Jake just stared at her. "Anyways, I asked everyone what color they wanted and we began. The first one to go was my ex-boyfriend Jacob Sartorius. He wore the red ribbon. Next to go was my annoying co-worker Jennifer. She wore the blue ribbon. After her Lily, my ex's girlfriend. She wore the violet ribbon. Then I killed Mary Lee. She wore the orange ribbon. After her I killed Rick. He wore the yellow ribbon. After him I killed Molly. She wore the green ribbon. Finally I killed Marie. She wore the indigo ribbon."
"Weren't you wearing an indigo ribbon in your hair when you were caught?"
"Why yes, yes I was. In fact it was the very ribbon Marie wore on the night of her escape. After my first game of knife tag, I was hooked. So was Lizzie! We held so many games in one summer! It was so fun!" Abby smiled and loved reliving her first days of Knife Tag.
"That's terrible! But what do you mean by escape..?"
"Marie escaped the ring. I forgot that she had a spare key to the house. The untied her ribbon and ran. I guess she told you guys what was happening huh?"
"Um...no actually.."
"Wow. I could've trusted her from the beginning then. Well the more you know."
"Still you're a terrible monster!"
Abby shrugged and looked at Jake one more time. He looked weak, and his uniform looked unofficial. This made Abby curious.
"Say, is that a real uniform?"
