Time to learn

Were at Diagonally and Hal and I are tariffed we don't know anyone. "Wait. We just met and we don't even know your name you expect us to learn magic with you?"

"Oh sorry about that, I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy and you are?"

"Im Rhonda and this is my best friend Hal." I say. "Pleasure. And no I don't expect you two to learn magic, just you." he says looking at me. "What about me?" Hal says. "Oh ya it would be best if you left." Draco says. I gasp he did not just say what I think he said, did he just say what I think he said? I think. "No! I will prove to you that Hal is a witch just like me!" I say grabbing Hals hand. Hal quickly pieces together what I'm doing and she says "Rhonda no, don't I'm fine I'll go, just NO DON'T!" too late I already put it on and its black.

"Rhonda, Rhonda look its black! Haha its black!"Hal says. I start to laugh "I can tell your exited. Sorry to burst your bubble but can I have my ring back?" I say laughing. "oh ya. So ware are we going?" Hal asks Draco.

"Alevander's for a wand." Draco says with a bit of disappointment. We go in to Alevanders and find the perfect wands for us. Hal's wand has a design of a spiral going all the way up then back down so it looks like a chain and I have a carving of a dolphin jumping out of the water with a hart above the head. Then we get the books and go to get a pet I got a owl and Hal got a bat she named her bat Cookie because it looked strangely like a Oreo cookie. I named my owl smoky because he is white with big grey spots.

We are going to practice magic before going to Hogwarts. I have no clue how to use my wand and Im guessing neither does Hal because earlier today she asked were the on button was. Draco said we were going to do the easy ones first and we are practicing Alohamora on a locked door. I think we're doing good. "I can't wait to go to Hogwarts and according to Draco theres a sorting hat that tells us what house we should be in. I hope Im in Slytherin it sounds like thats were all the fun is." Hal says. I start to laugh at the way she shakes her shoulders when she says that. "I do too and ever since I learned Im a witch I have had weird feelings about snakes like I could speak to them. Its weird, should I tell Draco? I ask wile were walking home from (muggle) school. "I would he seams to know a lot and its best to know if its a good thing or a bad thing."

"Your right Hal, I'll tell him soon." We walk into the haunted house and we see him waiting for us, Hal looks at me with a tell him now, DO IT look on her face. "Uh Draco um is it normal to have a weird feeling when ever I see a snake?" I say kind of worried. "Can you peak to them?"

"I don't know I don't think so."

"Lets find out, lets go to the pet store I think muggles call it."

And then before I knew it were at the parking lot of the pet store. "How did that happen?" Hal asked. Without saying a word Draco shakes his wand then I think she remembered because her face turned bright red. "I kind of feel bad for her Draco knows shes a muggle-born and he treats her like dirt! I don't know what I am, my parents didn't say if there a wizard or not. Any way the main idea is that Draco doesn't like Hal because shes a muggle-born but I think were friends. So we go into the pet store and Draco asks were the snake section was and we found a huge snake. "Talk to it." Draco says. "And exactly how do I do that?" I ask. "I don't know I'm not a parasol-tongue! Your the one who said you had a funny feeling when ever you see a snake." Draco says like I'm a idiot that has short-term-memorie-loss (which I don't) "fine umm." I say trying to concentrate. I take a deep breath. "Hasseahasha" I say talking snake language. "Your doing it! Congratulations!" Hal says. "Wait is that good or bad that she can talk to snakes?"

"It doesn't matter the good news is, your going to be in Slytherin." Draco says to me. "Awesome! So what house are you in?"

"Same as your going to be."

"Cool! I wounded what house I'm going to be in." Hal says. "All the rest of the spells, you will learn in Hogwarts. Are you ready? train leaves next week." Draco says. I sigh.

"I'm ready."
