"Y/N, Y/K WAKE UP!" Y/b said whilst jumping on your bed trying to wake you up, your ignored your brother trying to go back to sleep.
"Come on y/n wake up" he said as he would not stop jumping.
" alright fine I'm up" you said groggily as you got up out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
"Y/n honey breakfasts ready!" Your mum called as you exited the bathroom, you was in a tank top and shorts, and as you walked down the stairs you could feel a breeze hitting your bare legs, the smell of pancakes also filled the air. As you walked into the kitchen you saw a plate with pancakes and your favourite fruit you smiled.
"What's all this mum?" You said while laughing
" well it's not everyday my baby turns 18 now is it?" She said whilst giving me a hug. I had completely forgot it was my birthday.
"Me you your brother and mum are going for dinner tonight so make sure you are ready at 7'o'clock." My dad said, to be honest I didn't want to do anything, I just wanted to spend my birthday with my boyfriend of 3 years , but he was in New Jersey visiting his family. We made small talk at the table whilst everyone finished my mum took us all into the living room, where I saw a bunch of presents.
" aw, guys you didn't have to," I said whilst hugging my mum
"Open this one first baby." My mum said with a gleaming smile.
I started to unwrap the present and inside was a box, as I took the lid of the box I saw a white dress, the one I had been looking at for weeks in the shop window but not being able to afford it. ( dress at top )
"So do you like it?" My brother asked.
" I love it thank you so much guys" I said as I tackled my brother to the floor giving him hug
My mum handed me another present.
"I got these but if you don't like them we can change them."
I opened the box to see a pair of black heels with straps round the feet ( pic at top)
"Mum I honestly love them thank you so much" I said as I pulled her in for a hug
"Here you go darling" my dad said as he passed me a small black box with a bow on it.
" dad thank you so much I love it, thank you I said I gave him a hug as a tear fell down my face, it was a locked with a picture of me and my nan in it the very first and last picture of us together before she passed away, I loved my nan so much so this locket meant everything to me.
" hey the birthday girl isn't supposed to cry on her birthday." My dad said as he wiped my tears, we all chuckled.
I opened the rest of my present and I got, some jewellery and little bits, when I finished opening all the presents, I sat on the sofa and checked my phone, I thought I would have had a message or something from Grayson but nothing maybe he forgot , all I could think about was him, I missed him so much and I just wanted see him, hug him, kiss him, but most of all I just wanted to hear his voice!
I didn't realise i had a tear rolling down my Dec until I felt it hit my hand, my mum must have noticed because she came over to me.
" hey sweetie what's wrong?" She said sympathetically
" I'm just really missing Grayson at the moment that's all" I said
" aww baby, he'll be home next week, try not to get yourself worked up about it, oh that reminds me we have one more present for you"
My mum got up from me and walked out to the kitchen with my dad, my brother stood there smiling and giggling at me, my mum and dad came back in pushing the big box, it looked so heavy but I couldn't wait to open it.
I undid the bow on the top and before I could do anything else someone jumped out of the box!
"Happy birthday princess!" He said
It was Grayson, the person I had been craving the most is here! I jumped into his arms as he picked me up and snuggled his face into my neck.
"I missed you so much gray!" I said whilst tears of joy were filling my eyes!
" baby I missed you too, burnt would never miss your birthday, I love you so much y/n"
"I love you so much more Grayson" I said as I kissed his lips, he put me down and he finally slept out of the box, I turns around to give my mum dad and brother a hug when I turn to back around to Grayson he was down on one knee!!!
He pulled a small red velvet box out of his pocket and inside was a promise ring the most prettiest I've ever seen!
" y/n the first time saw you I fell in love with you, and everyday I fall in love with you over and over again, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, when I picture the future all I see is you me and a family of our own, I couldn't imagine my life without you and I wouldn't want to! I love you so much and I always will, so I am giving you this ring as a promise that I will always be by your side, and that I promise to love you everyday for the rest of my life but not only that, this ring is a promise that one day I will be able to call you Mrs y/n Dolan! Will you accept my promise?!" Grayson said
The words I wanted to say wouldn't come out so I leaned forward and gave himself kiss filled with both passion and lust, when i pulled away I rested my forehead on his.
" yes!" I said as I smiled, he picked me up and spun me around, I heard my family all cheering!
