Chaper one

I pulled my suitcase off of the bus, I saw two kids saying goodbye to people and leaving on the bus I got off. I shrugged and started walking slowly. They ran after the bus, some of them crying. I walked over to them to ask about the kids "Hey! I'm new here, if you don't mind me asking who were those kids?" I ask. The big man child started crying and a red head patted him on the back. "Oh sorry, I should just go." I say turning around and leaving again "No it's okay wait up." I turn around and the red head was calling me back. "They are just the best kids ever." She said shoving her hands in her pockets. She started to tear up "Are you going to see them again?" I ask "Next summer." She said "Oh I would love to meet them." I said smiling. She chuckled wiping her tears away. She held out her hand "Nice to meet you, I'm Wendy." She said "Hi Wendy, I'm (y/n)." I returned her hand shake.
That was the start of a friendship.
I moved to Gravity Falls that day and worked at the Mystery Shack since Wendy has school. I worked alongside the baby man soos and his girlfriend. I lived in a small apartment that was previously a motel room.
The previous owner of the Mystery Shack and his brother went on a trip, so I didn't really get to know them. I worked there happily, every day was the same, but gravity falls was so beautiful and weird. I loved it.
The next summer came, Wendy came back to work at the mystery shack, and we worked together, we laughed a lot and had a lot of fun.
The next week Wendy seemed very excited "Wendy what's up? Why are you so excited?" I asked "Oh yeah, remember the kids you saw when we first met?" She said, I thought for a second "Um yeah" I replied "Well they're coming back today!" She replied almost screaming. "Oh cool! I'll get to meet them." I said smiling a toothy smile. "Here, come on they will be here any second, soos come on!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door "Be there in a second dudes." Soos said as we ran out the door. We ran all the way to the bus stop. We got there and caught our breath. We laughed together "oh I'm excited!" She said pretty much jumping. Soos soon came after "You dudes....are too.....fast." He said breathing heavily. We laughed again, then we heard a bus. We all turned around and we saw a bus coming down the road, Wendy started jumping up and down and waving wildly. I laughed and saw Candy and Grenda join us. They were also waving wildly.
It stopped and a girl flew out of it and into Wendy's arms "WENDY!!!" She screamed and I laughed again. Candy and Grenda ran to them and hugged the girl, (I'm assuming Mabel) too.
Then a boy came off "Wendy!" He ran to her. She ran to him and hugged him.
"DUDES!" Soos yelled and ran to both of them. They both hugged him "Hey soos!" They giggled
Mabel went back to Candy and Grenda and they started catching up.
Dipper and Wendy started talking too. "Hey guys I want you to meet someone!" Wendy says. I turn around and start walking backwards since we started walking back to the mystery shack. "This is (y/n), she works at the shack and moved to town last year." Wendy said gesturing towards me. "Hey Mabel and Dipper, I've heard a lot about you." I said smiling. "Nice to meet you." Dipper said putting out his hand. I took it "Hi Dipper, I'm (y/n)." I replied "IM MABEL!" Mabel said excitedly putting out her hand "Hi Mabel, great to meet you guys." I said. "I heard so much about you from Wendy." I said smiling happily. "Really?" Dipper asked quietly blushing. I chuckled "Yup, I couldn't wait to meet you guys."
"Well here we are." Mabel said proud as we arrived at the mystery shack.
