"Alex, wake up. Alex." A voice had been calling out to Alex and a door opening and closing, so he did what any normal boy would do. He went back to sleep, but after a while he felt being soaked in cold water, freezing water.
Alex screamed and jumped from his bed. He looked around for the culprit who ruined his beloved sleep. It was Joaquin; his best friend who was pretty proud of what he had done. Joaquin was well he was everything Alex wasn't, he was an extrovert, an optimist, and he was absolutely carefree; it's quite unusual how these two came to meet but they did.
"Would you mind telling me, what are you doing in my house and who let you in?" Alex asked with venom lacing his voice as he had started changing his clothes.
"Your mom did, she even gave me some food." Joaquin smiling, answered; casually laying on the bed. Alex rolled his eyes at him and said. "She never cooks me breakfast..."
Joaquin frowned; he approached Alex, who was now just looking at his window sadly. Joaquin hugged him and gently said. "Y'know she loves you right?...but we all know I'm her favorite son."
Alex pulled away and slapped Joaquin's arm and glared at him. "Ha ha ha, Joaquin. You and I? Siblings? As if." He scoffed at him. "What're you doing here again?"
"We're gonna go to the mall remember?" Joaquin said rubbing his already red arm. Alex just simply looked at him and said. "No, we're not."
Taken aback, Joaquin stepped back pouting. "But you PROMISED! And you also said you'd buy me a jacket." He whined grabbing Alex's shoulders;shaking him.
"Stop shaking me, you ugly dork! You're already making me dizzy and it's still like nine in the morning." Alex said; he pushed Joaquin and massaged his temples. "I did not promise you anything. Now go leave, I have home work to do." He shooed him away.
"But Alex it's a Saturday you can do that tomorrow!" Joaquin whined; trying to convince Alex to go with him; but words are deceiving because he had already carried Alex and was walking for the door. Alex squirmed trying to break free but Joaquin was twice his size.
"JOAQUIN, LET GO OF ME!" Alex shouted as he squirmed in Joaquin's tight hold against him.
Joaquin had made a beeline for the front door when he heard a man's voice calling out to him and asked. "Where are you two going?" Joaquin turned around;still carrying Alex and he saw that it was Alex's dad. "Oh hi, Mr. Lesley we're going to the mall." He beamed at him.
"Dad help me! I'm being kidnapped." Alex shouted at his dad, still squirming; his dad just looked at him and smirked. "Ok you boys have fun!" Alex's dad laughed
'Thanks Mr. Lesley! Will do.' Joaquin chuckled, walked straight for the door, while Alex mumbled curses.
"Stop mumbling curses at your dad, Alex." Joaquin laughed at him. Alex just glared at him and said. "Would you put me down, and let me walk?"
Joaquin shook his head at him. "I like holding you. You're like a normal sized teddy bear to me." He unlocked his car and dropped Alex into his seat, doing his seat belt. "Look at you so cute." He cooed at Alex pinching his cheeks.
Alex slapped his hands away; cringing. "Stop touching me!" He said. Joaquin rubbed his hands, closed the door headed for the driver's seat. "Y'know you should really stop slapping me, your slaps really hurt." Getting inside the car.
Alex smiled evilly at him and said. "Good, so you could finally stop touching me."
Joaquin just looked at him and smiled as he started the car and drove off with him singing to "Work by Rihanna".
