Chapter 2: Heavens Arena

"Onii-chan where are we going?"

"To Heavens Arena"

Heavens Arena sure is a fancy big place, and it reaches up to 200 floors wow just wow. Ever in my life I haven't been to such a building this tall

"Fascinated aren't we, Ara-chan?" Onii-chan said. We are currently at the registration line

"Just a lil bit" I replied with a smile curving my lips

"Oh~ my my~ my unripe fruits have arrived~" At first I didn't get what he said but when I followed his gaze, I saw two young boys who merely just entered the entrance

"Who are they? Your friends?" I ask him but I think he just entered wonderland, he completely lost his senses. He was drooling

"Next please" the girl who I think works here said referring to us

"Onii-chan" I poke him, I repeatedly did this but it was no effect. I reached out for brother's hair and pulled it causing him to wince in pain, like I have a choice

"What was that for?" I pointed at the registration office, I throw him a we-are-next expression

"Gomen Ara-chan~" Then we went to the office to fill up the form

Birthday: September 9

Hobbies: do I need to answer this?

And so many other bluffs and things that isn't really necessary

"Hisoka-sama, it seems that you have advanced to the 200th floor before, would you like me to--" before the lady could've even finish her sentence, Onii-chan interrupted him

"I can start at the beginning~" onii-chan let out a tiny bit of bloodlust causing the lady to shiver and panic

"H-Hai"

"Aratani-sama your number is 708 and Hisoka-sama your number is 709, we're looking forward to your battles"

Nii-chan smirk mischievously "How about I challenge you to a battle, Miss?~" Onii-chan let out a huge mass of murderous aura, the lady fainted as soon as brother's eyes landed on hers

"Onii-chan, don't scare people like that" I scold my big brother. He is always hungry for prey, I took a deep sigh

"Oh? Don't worry, I wasn't going to kill her. She's not worth wasting my time~" We continued walking the hall

"Oh! I forgot something to do!" He loudly exclaimed catching some passerby's attention "Ara-chan, I'll catch up to you later, Ja-ne!" And that, he went off without giving me a chance to speak up. Silly brother

I went to the room where contestants are waiting for their fights, to my surprise I saw the two young boys earlier. One with black hair and the other with silvery white. I searched the room for there be any chance of strong opponents can be located at the area but there wasn't a single one except for the young boys, man this is not going to be a hassle

"Contestant number 708 please proceed to section D arena" the speakers attached to the ceilings announced, well I better get going

While taking the stairs up cause I don't want to wait at the elevator, I bumped into a random dude with raven hair. I only ignored him and continued ascending to heaven---- I mean Stairs. I don't think heaven will accept a demon like me

Raven Dude's POV

Who was that girl? She's....pretty

Shoot! I'm late!

Aratani's POV

When I went up the arena my opponent is a big sumo wrestler fatso. The crowd is howling wildly throwing money all over the place

"I bet 500 yen that Kakuji will win!

"I bet 1000 yen that Kakuji will win! Also"

"I bet your lives that Aratani will win" the bewildered crowd who barks like there was no tomorrow left suddenly shut their annoying mouths. I look up to see who was the overconfident dude who spoke, ohhh It's nii-chan! Well he is the only person I know who likes to threaten people's lives

"Ready....start!" The referee says

I placed my hands to my pocket and yawned, cause I love to tease somebody right about now. That expression on his face is what I've been itching to see

"You damned brat! Why don't you fight me? Huh coward?!Oh, cause you're scared aren't yo---" before I can let him finish his nonsense, I slipped one card on my pocket and point its sharp edges to his troat he was scared, scared to death. I can tell it from just looking to his humongous but fragile soul who cannot even launch a punch on my guts. He's a harmless guy

"Let me tell you something, don't underestimate someone by looks. I'm a merciless killer, watch your words big fella the coward you were talking about is the one who'll put an end to your pitiful life" I told him in a monotone and cold voice

He was shaking, his knees became soft as if someone kicked it hard enough for him to kneel down. He was trembling in fear "Please! Have mercy on me!"

I lowered my head and patted his head and smiled genuinely. His eyes lit up and a smile formed on his lips, he must've thought I gave him a chance to live in this cruel world who doesn't need helpless and powerless creatures like him

"Too late" I swiped my card in a flash, some audience gasp. I am now facing a headless man and blood squirting out from every part of his body

"T-The winner for this round i-is Aratani!" The referee gave me a receipt written that I passed

"Oh?~ she won~ too bad you're going to pay me your lives~" I heard brother's intimidating voice from a far

"Aaaaghh!" The gamblers ran off

"Onii-chan that isn't nice" I glared at him I was waiting for a response but he only hugged me instead

"O-Oi! W-What are you doing Nii-chan?!" I try to shove him off but he tighten his grip

"I'm sooo proud of my lil sis~" he softly ruffled my hair making me pout in annoyance. I HATE it when someone tries to mess up with my hair. I spend 2 hours brushing my hair in front of my mirror and my effort will just go to waste

"Ne Nii-chan, where are we going to spend the night?"

"At the hotel of course"

I didn't know why but my face flushed to a vibrant color of red when he mentioned the word 'hotel'

I remembered the scene on brother's room! O/////O I think all of my blood just went up to my face! Ahhh! I can't let brother know I saw his.....Forget it!

"I won't let anyone get in the way of my plan, even if I need to kill them for it"
