You bailed me out of the prison of sadness
You broke the walls of my comfort zone where my heart felt emptiness
Then you invaded my world where nothing seemed alive
But I knew you were the invader I'd always let in my life.
You made me feel that love is real
You gave me love that felt surreal
A love that filled my heart that was so empty
A love that swore eternity
But death wanted an early claim
It got you and left me in pain
I might feel happiness anew
But not the same hapiness when I was with you.
Now dear my tears cascade again
You were my life, my soul, my love and my only friend
The person that I used to kiss
But now a memory to reminisce.
