Scars

First friend

A great building towering over me,people running everywhere I look. I notice that my new school almost looks as though it's split into groups. The field has the sporty looking people on it,the hard court all the popular kids,inside through a window I see all the nerds playing on their games and there seems to be a small outside area where just one girl is sitting. She looks really depressed,so I decide to go and talk to her.

As I wander along the area,with my backpack thumbing on my back as I go,I finally get to her.
"Hey." I said "I noticed you looked kinda down back here. Oh,I'm sorry! I should introduce myself! My names Roxane...but you can call me Rex! I prefer that name much more." I give off a light laugh to show her that I am here for her. She looks up at me and smiles gently.
"Oh,hey! Well,not everything has been going to swiftly recently...but I really should introduce myself. My name's Aerith!" She exclaims. Wow,what a beautiful name! She has an adorable smile and big blue eyes. She has soft brown hair,quite long, and it fades into a blue at the bottom. She has a baby pink jumper on and some black skinny jeans,and some black converse too. "Um,I hate to be rude,but my I ask you something?" She questions.
"Sure,go ahead!" It cants be that bad. "Well,I was wondering-please don't take this offensively-I was wondering,why do you,you know...l-look like a boy?" She seemed ashamed of what she had just questioned... "Well,you see... I don't really think that I'm a girl,I believe I'm a boy. My mum never allowed this,so now I live with my aunt and cousin,they support me!"
"So you're transgender?" She asked.
"Yeah! Basically! Hey I was wondering,it's my first day here,Can I hang out with you?" I ask. I hope she says yes,I really want to hang out! "Sure,why not! The bells will go soon,so we better head inside."

I did it! I made a friend! And she's beautiful! I'm so happy! We have art first period,so that's an excellent way to start of my adventure!
