It's been 3 years since the day everything was taken away from me and each night I still think about how life would be now if this didn't happen to me, my mum is so worried about me and she doesn't know what to do anymore. She has asked my dad if I can go live with him because she doesn't know how to 'handle me' because of my current state of mind.
My grades are failing and I don't talk to my friends anymore, I just sit in my room all day with no emotion at all. I check my phone I have a text from My friend Calum he said 'Hey Luke haven't heard from you in a while I'm coming around to check up on you' he sent that about 20 minutes ago so I go and look out my window and sure enough I see Calum waiting in his car.
I get in the car and Calum says 'Hey Luke you ok?' I just shrug my shoulders and sigh. Calum said 'Ok well do you want to get some food or something?' I said 'Why Not' 'OKAY GRUMPY' Calum said with attitude
We drove to McDonald's in silence except for the noise from the radio cutting in and out, a song comes on I'm not sure how it goes but I still really like it something about 'Paradise.... I don't remember, Calum said 'I LOVE THIS SONG' and started singing away, I don't really sing much unless I'm by myself. But Calum is a great singer his voice is so good. Nobody has heard me sing and they never will.
'Luke?' Calum said 'Yeah' I replied. 'Don't you know the words?, Sing with me.' He said. 'I dunno all the words and you know I don't like to sing,' I replied with a grumpy attitude
