*DREAMING*

My eyes flutter open, and observe my surroundings. Its dark and I'm in a forest the sky clear the stars shining brightly but producing no light to the earth. Standing to my feet brushing off the leaves and dirt on my clothes, a soft crunch of vegetation sounded from behind me. I spun in its direction, nothing. Where am I? My ears are ringing and my vision blurry. Why am I here? Where's Sam? Is anyone here? Questions run through my mind like a child flipping mindlessly through the countless channels of the TV.

"Hello? Whose there?" My voice echoed through the open air. A twig snapped to my left, fully aware that I'm in immediate danger I dig in my pockets for a knife. Which there isn't one, panic spreads through my body like a wildfire exposed to oxygen. Two flurries of light, red light, eyes. Suddenly more and more pairs of glowing crimson eyes fill up the dark spaces between the trees. "HELP!" My brothers voice spread throughout the woods. My heart stops, my broth-

*Real life*

"Dean! Wakeup!" Sammy screeched next to my bedside. Snapping awake from my nightmare I jolt up and instantly grab the gun under my pillow. Sam's eyes wide and full of surprise and fear. As mine probably did too as I realized I was pointing a double barrel shot gun at my little brothers chest. Slowly I peeled my pointer off the trigger, Sam sighed in relief. As I kneeled down to his level wrapping my arms around his little waist. His hands tangled in my hair as I panted trying to forget another horrible dream. "What was it this time Dean?" He murmured in my ear. I sat back on my legs, as he stood over me. "Dark. Forest. B- blood red eyes the size of vultures. You were calling for.. Help." I stammered in between my words. He looked at me as if I was insane, which I myself was starting to believe. "Just go splash some water on your face. You'll be fine Dean its just a dream." He smiled and walked away into the living room.

Recouping for a minute I just sat on my knees. Finally rising to my feet I walk into the bathroom turning the faucet on.  The water woke me up, but it didn't help my constant nightmares go away. I walked into my room opening my closet and grabbing a black shirt, a green flannel and some blue jeans. I slipped the jeans and shirt, rolling up my flannel sleeves in the mirror. Tugging my hair up in a spike for the day, I stared at my eyes in the mirror, why me? Why am I the freak, why do people like me so much, why am I haunted? Questions once again flew through my mind.

Sam was eating breakfast at the table, when I walked over to fetch him for school. "Sammy, time for school." He looked up from his cereal, milk smeared across his little lips. "Haha, C'mere." motioning my hand towards myself. He sat up and walked towards me a small grumpy expression on his face. Getting down on one knee I licked my thumb and wiped the milk off his mouth. "Ew Dean!" He squirmed out from under my grasp. I chuckled and grabbed my backpack, slinging it on my shoulder. Sam followed me out the door and to the bus stop. He was trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue. His bus came first and he hugged my torso tightly before climbing on and waving out the window. After 20 minute of sitting in the bitter cold winter air, the bus finally stopped for me. The driver threw a smile at me which I didn't return, my eyes fixed on my 'friends' in the front seat. Two girls, Alex and Turner giggled and looked me up and down. The football players were banging the seats next to them signaling me to sit next to them.

I sat next to Jason the only one that wasn't annoying as hell. The girls were whispering to eachother and still drooling over me. I just rolled my eyes and kept quiet, until the next bunch came on the bus. Time to put the act on. "Hey Dean!" Danielle hollered. Her sister following behind her. "Dean! Guess what bro!?" Danny called. I stood up, hugging the sisters who sat next to me. Danny and I slapped hands. The boys were flirting with the girls so I looked around the bus. My eyes connected with a boy in the back seat, no one sitting beside him. He was wearing a blue V-neck and a black hoodie which matched his raven locks. He was- quite- beautiful. His eyes fluttered and his face flushed a dark red. I raised and eyebrow at him, and bit my lip a little. He looked away obviously embarrassed. He was gorgeous actually.

Holy shit, I just said another guy was gorgeous. What the hell is wrong with me?
