Forever Alone, A Near(Death Note) Songfic

A/N: So, one day(or night. Whichever you prefer) I was looking up random song lyrics, and I came across this song. The song is called "Forever Alone" by Insania. An idea came to me, and this was created. Vote, or don't vote. Whatever you want...

 Look into his eyes, what do you see?                                                                                                                 There's nothing but loneliness and sorrow.                                                                                                     He's crying in pain, but there are not tears.                                                                                              There are no good things, no tomorrow.

Freak. Weirdo. Strange. Taunted of who he is, and what he is. Near cries himself to sleep every night, wanting Mello's tourture to stop. He knows he's an albino, and so quiet and unsociable that nobody bothers with him. L says that it was like that for him, too. Near is too innocent-minded, too childish, to really think about L's words. He just wants it to stop...... For someone to care.

He's forgotten how to smile, and how to live,                                                                                                       He is dissapointed at God, but he will forgive.

He hides all of this under an emotionless mask. He keeps calm, then, during the hours of silence, he cries it out. His only friends are the toys, the only ones who will listen. But, he needs another being to care, to listen, but none answer his plea.

Mello conciders him his rival, but Near just wants to be his friend. Mello's grudge is fueled by Near's rank: always above him. Near is always number one. Mello hates him for that, and continuosly hurt Near. Mello picked on him because he was weak.

I know he's still out there, living alone.                                                                                                             He lives by storm and heavy weather.                                                                                                               He waits for the day, when he is to leave.                                                                                                           He knows he won't be alone in heaven.

It all happened so quickly. L was killed by Kira, then Matt, then, last but not least, Mello. Near mourned over them, even if Mello would never have done the same to him. They weren't his friends, but he still loved the three of them. And now, he had to step up to the plate, and claim what Mello had wanted so badly. It fell onto Near to carry on the name of L.

A/N: Sounded a little NearXMello in there. Oh, well. Anyway, this is what I think Near feels after the other Wammy Boys die. Seriously, people! Why do you hate on Near? He's all alone. Don't hate him. He's just the cutest albino genius ever.
