The plan (Chapter 23)

Mia's POV:

"I'm so glad you're here"
I whispered, not breaking the hug only making it tighter. Zach removed his arms from around my body and put his hands on my waist, just staring at me confused. I knew he was confused... Because why on Earth would I be happy to see the guy who raped me and took my virginity. "You m-missed me?" He said quietly. I just nodded ant smiled. He smiled very wide....this was the plan. I was going to make him think I'm in love with him so that I can get all his secrets and know why the hell Weston was after me and basically everything else. "I missed you too...but do you remember what I did to y-" he started but I interrupted, trying to make it seem like I didn't want to talk about it."Yes I know, it's okay I know you didn't mean it right?" I said and gave a half smile. "No of coarse I didn't" he said. I looked at Hunter laying on the bed, listening to the slow beeps on the monitor next to him making sure his heart was beating. Then I looked back to Zach. I didn't know what to do about this though. I love Hunter, but Zach is here and I need to make my plan believable. I guess I could just tell Hunter when he wakes up that it's all fake but I need to pretend, and hopefully Hunter won't mind. When I looked back to Zach he smiled and pulled me closer. "Well if we both miss each other then we should get back together. And you probably wouldn't mind if I did this." He said with a smirk.

Hunters POV:

I heard a slight beeping noise and opened my eyes slowly. I realized where I was...the hospital. I must've lost too much blood from the..cutting. I turned and saw my mom crying in her hands, not even noticing in awake and then I turned closer to the door to see Zach Clayton. He was leaning in to kiss Mia. Their lips connected and Mia kissed back.
"Mia?" I said in a hoarse, raspy voice from just waking. I knew she wouldn't do this....she couldn't .....she wouldn't. She turned her head to me quickly and ran up to me trying to kiss my forehead. I pushed her away slightly because of what I just saw less then 10 seconds ago. Wtf!? Something's going on Mia's not like that. The Mia Johnson I know wouldn't do that. She hates him. Yet, some part of me believes she meant what she did. "Stop get away" I said because it's all I could say. She then whispered very softly in my ear, her breath hot against my ear leaving me with goosebumps." I'll explain later I promise."
