Chapter 7: Oh Joey

Joeys Pov

I ran down the stairs to Megan's apartment. As I knocked on the door I felt butterflies in my stomach. Audrey answered the door. "Hey Joey!" She smiled "Megan's just in her room. I'll get her!" I walked in and sat at the kitchen table. quote;Joey!" I heard Megan call. As she ran to me. Hugging me. Her hug was quick but it felt right. "Megan!" I smiled back at her. God she was so pretty! Her hair curled perfectly and her petit figure suited the black dress she wore. She smiled at me. "Let's go then!" She said. Grabbing her purse and waving to Audrey. "Bye aud!" She said I waved as we walked out the door. We got into my car. I smiled at her as she turned on the radio. We drove to the Pier. When we got there. Megan looked at me and started laughing. "What?" I smiled at her. "It's just so fancy, it's not really us." I looked at her. What was I thinking she was so right. "Let's not go and say we did!" I said laughing along with her! We drove down the street to another restaurant. Less fancy but still nice. We got a table and ordered our food. We talked and laughed the whole meal. I then asked the waiter for the bill. "So" Megan said taking a sip of her water. "What did you want to tell me?" She said. I had totally forgot! "Yes about that. I'm umm" I started. "I really like you and all that..."

Megan's Pov

"I really like you and all that" Joey started and my heart dropped. "I want you to be my girlfriend" he said it I smiled probably looking like a total idiot. I looked at Joey. He was not smiling but actually looked rather upset. "But I'm moving." He continued " I'm moving farther away." I frowned "how far?" I asked grabbing his hand. He smiled looking at my hand. I felt my hands getting sweaty. Oh gross! "I'm moving in with Anthony and Kalel. I frowned that was a 1 hour drive. "Oh Joey." I said. Joey had paid the bill and we walked out side. "Joey." I said softly he turned around to look at me. "I would love to be your girlfriend" I said. He smiled at me. He grabbed my hand and huge me tight. "But will it work?" He said his voice was unsteady. " we will make it work." He smiled at me with his perfect smile.
