The Halfa Princess (Act 2 of "Ghost Cousin")

Chapter 3

Terryn's pov
I call Sam and Tucker so they can come with us. Sam said she got her parents to let her go cause it would be very educational. Now this plane is massive and is more like a flying house than anything. We load up inside and I introduce everyone to my personal driver Theodore. He's been my driver for as long as I can remember.  Everyone sits around neverously . Me the most, it's my responsibility to take care of him and repair the wound in his chest. After we land, Theodore to my cottage 30 minutes outside the small town of Little Bloomswood. The cottage is relatively large with 6 bedroom and bathrooms with a master suite, entertainment room, kitchen, pool, garden and a huge library. I make my way inside a home I haven't been in in years.

     Tucker's pov

     I help Terryn get Danny upstairs while the other girls unpack. We put him on one of the beds. I nearly faint at the sight of the wound. It's partially scabbed over and Danny looks very pale. Terryn walking across the room washing her hands. The goes and changes so she's dressed like a surgeon. She asked me," I know this isn't your cup of tea but I need you to be my assistant?" I agree and change as she preps her cousin for surgery. She says," The bullet went through completely. I have to cauterize it first, then check for any organ damage then stitch it up." She exhales and whispers a prayer and says," Hand me two retractors and a scalpel. " She looks into the wound and checks for anything internal. "It scarred his stomach and large intestine. But everything looks good other than that. She then cauterizes his front and back and stitches it back up. I help her put gauze pieces on each smaller cut and over the stitches. Then we wrap gauze around his torso and are done. It took over 5 hours and she says," All we can do now is let him rest. But my main concern is his spinal cord. It could be damaged, and if it is, he could be paralyzed. He also needs a blood transfusion. I have enough for today but since I'm the only donor I'll have to give more." She takes her gloves off and puts them in the trash can and she goes downstairs. She sits on the sofa   and tells them the results. "It's crucial that no one knows we're here. So if you wanna go into town don't tell where you're staying it you know me."Terryn says, " Exuse me guys but I'm tired so feel free to explore the house." and she leaves.
