Being Good Isn't Enough

Darren wasn't entirely sure if he could actually get through this day. He did get about four hours of sleep and it was showing. He tiredly sat on one of the chairs and put his head in his hands.
 
"Hey, you ready?"

Darren looked at Ryan, who was about to start the auditions. He came into the room, which was considered of a few chairs, one long table and slowly ticking clocks. Beside Darren were sitting other 4 guys, who were going to audition with him.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Darren sighed and waited until he would be called onto the stage.

Chris was extremely nervous. Who wouldn't be? He was about to see his new cast mate and his character's future boyfriend. But not that he would know which one of the upcoming actors will be that one guy. And not that the fact that it was made as a competition or some reality show would help. He was strictly against something like that,but what could he do? The camera started rolling and Brad came onstage.

"Good morning everybody," he started, "You probably already know, what's going on, but anyway, I will explain."

Brad continued to talk while Chris was blankly staring into a wall and daydreaming, until Brad announced the outcome of the first competitior.

"And now, here comes our first newbie-Eli. "

Eli came to Brad, warmly smiling into the camera and waving shortly.

"As our number two, here goes Chandler!"

Chandler walked onto the stage and stood next to Eli.

"Our number three-Adam!"

Wearing a wide smile, Adam stood next to Chandler.

"And now, Elliot!"

With a shining hat and black sunglasses, Elliot marched with a grin into the middle of the stage.

"And as our last one competitior, here comes, Blaine!"

Chris looked at the coming boy and his smile slowly faded. As soon as Blaine saw the change in his friend's expression, he felt a sudden hopelessness. This couldn't end well.

Okay, since I never really write long chapters and my updating sucks, I will probably write shorter chapters , but more often. Anyway I am at friend's rn and she fell asleep so I though I will put here this since I promised to update 😃
