I wake up,

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" I scream frantically.

What the actual crap?!!

I rub my hands roughly on my lips.

We kissed. WE. KISSED?!?!?!

WHAT THE HELL.

Why is this happening to me?! WTF DID I JUST DREAM?!

WHAT THE ACTUAL ----

IT SEEMED SO REAL MY GOODNESS

EW. EW. EW?!?!!!

"Stay with me" What the hell was that?!?! Why would he even say that?!

Stephen you culprit of all this junk nonsense.

Hm but I guess it felt a bit romantic...

WAIT.

WHAT.

What the heck is wrong with me?! I'm supposed to hate him you stupid brain! Not this!!!

I slap my face hard a hundred times.

"Stupid stupid stupid!" I shout.

UHHHHHH. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!

I finally get tired of all the swearing and slapping and ranting alone.

Probably it's just the fact that I've never had my first kiss, yet.

I was probably overwhelmed, even in just a dream.

GAH.

WTH.

I hear the buzzing sound at the main door and just shouted "Go away. No one's home!"

"It's me, Mariella."

"I don't care who you are. Leave me alone."

"Come on don't be such a brat Gen."

"I'm not. I'm an adult with a serious ---"

"OPEN THE DOOR."

Her voice suddenly changed from sweet to dictatorial. I got up, walked to my apartment door and let her in. Uh Mariella.

"I heard some schoolmate poured some ice coffee on you, huh?" She said, walking straight to our small living room.

"Yeah. Are you mad?"

"Mad about him 'sabogating' you? Of course!"

"No not that. You know. What the customer's will think and all."

"Oh Genever."

I can see her sighing and nodding her head.

"As much as I want the cafe to be the best there is with the best service and the best crew ever, there are just some people who'd hinder us from that."

Gulp. Ouch. Am I that person?

"And no. You're not that person." she said as if reading my mind.

I sigh in relief.

"No worries kiddo. I'll make sure he'll never step inside the cafe again. Well, until he paid and apologized I guess."

"Sorry. I was just... so embarassed so I ran off."

"It's okay. He's a jerk but now you're safe."

I smile. Mariella's so understanding and I love her for it.

"I don't get it though," she continued, "you were with him when you entered the room. He a friend?"

"No. He's not. He's just a lying jerk."
