As she laid there on her bed
She fought the monsters inside her head

No one could see this ordeal
But, my! It was so real

Tossing, twisting, jump and flinch
Yet she never moved an inch

Cuts and gashes
Searing rashes

She losing this war
She doesn't want to fight it anymore

The demons get her
As she writes her letter

And with her blade
The world begins to fade

She notices things she's never seen before
Like how the wall meets perfectly with the floor

Her mind spins
As the monster slowly wins

She does something she hasn't
In a long long time
She she smiles and leaves this cruel world behind
