"Eh. She'll be alright. She bit me last week. I'm good."
Vergil added as he walked over to the door.
"How bout this? Vergil, Tsurugi, Eos, and I will head to the beach now to save spots. You guys catch up when you're ready and the group at the emergency room will catch up when they finish removing the acid from Jade's arm."
Suggested Armen as he also headed to the door.
The pinkette leaned on the door and placed his hands in his pockets.
"I'm down for that."
"Oh, no we're ready. We were offering just in case. Other than that.."
Vanora pulled out her keys.
"I am ready to go."
Smiling, the blackette slid past and strode out the door.
"I've got the sweets! Here, Van, take these. I've got to call Caius and Flapjack."
Knato left the things to Vanora while she went to the back.
"Hypnos and I will follow along with Claudius and Julius."
Hypnos nodded and followed his mother out.
"We'll ride with you two. If you both will have us."
Tsurugi added. As they spoke, Knato and Nyx had their chariots out front while Vanora had her Maserati Ghibli out front as well.
"You're still okay? What are you???"
Eos was finally hit by that. And needed to know how he possibly could have survived.
"So, Tsurugi and Eos are riding with us? Vergil is driving so Eos can chill in the passenger and I'll sit in the back with Tsurugi. We have a couple of things in the back seat, so Tsu, you might have lay on me."
Armen said as he opened the door.
"A magician never reveals his secrets."
Vergil winked at Eos and walked outside to the car.
"Do you guys need help loading things into the chariot?"
The bluenette asked, placing his sunglasses over his eyes.
Hypnos laughed while Nyx sent servants to place them into Vanora's trunk.
"Silly boy, we don't put these objects into our chariots. That's why Vanora brought her car."
Vanora rolled down her window and waved. A pair of Burberry aviators accenting her attire.
"She's half goddess, and a really well-paid lawyer."
Knato remarked as she flicked her wrists, having the Pegasai stand at the ready.
"I'm fine with that. Hopefully the police don't pull us over."
"Haha that'd be silly. We could just sweet talk them."
Eos grinned mischievously.
"There will be no seducing. We'll meet you all there. Please be safe! My baby is in there!"
Knato shouted before her chariot took off.
"Yes. If my granddaughter and greaaaaaaaaaaaat granddaughter are injured.."
Nyx had a gleam in her eyes as she also set off.
"That's not fair. Hmph! I'm not telling you anything about myself either.'
Eos got into the car and pulled the door closed.
Eos sighed as he kissed her forehead.
"Don't you ever wonder?"
She asked as she buckled herself up.
"Aunt Vanora is half goddess. Sometimes she uses her pegasus, but on days like these, she uses her car. And have you seen the size of a chariot? I wouldn't want anything falling out mid flight."
Tsurugi answered for her absent family.
"Hey, do you need help organizing things back here..? I'm sure I can be of use with that. If you both would like."
Offered the brunette as she waited.
"I still don't understand the goddesses..."
Vergil claimed as he let out a sigh.
"No, it's fine. Just come in. We'll worry about it later."
The bluenette answered as he motioned for the brunette to enter the car.
"Not just goddesses. Deities in general. With all these affairs and stuff. Trust me, you don't want to hear it."
Eos' ears perked up and she turned away embarrassed.
"But it's nothing too difficult to understand. At least, not all of it anyway."
Tsurugi finished as she shut the door once she was in. Then began to get herself situated. Trying not to move too much.
"And to think I could just fly there huh?"
Joked the brunette.
"I could have used my chariot too. But I didn't want to overwork my Frederick and Cedric."
Eos finished.
"I guess. Alright, let's.."
Vergil was interrupted by the sound of his phone ringing.
"Hold up."
The pinkette answered his phone. It was Aria. He put the phone on speaker
"What's the story this time?"
"We left the emergency room."
"Is Jade alright?"
"Yeah, the acid is in her arm still, but she's alright. Zianna won't stop apologizing though."
"She shouldn't apologize that much. It was an accident."
"Yeah."
"Where's Bremis?"
"Oh, see now there's another issue."
"Oh gawd, what is it?"
"See, Cynthia needed to get her friend, so brought Iris to the ER. Zianna and Iris have been at each other's throats since we left. I had to put Bremis between them in the back seat."
"Wow. Have fun with that!"
Vergil hung up the phone, began to pull out of his parking spot.
"Woah"
Feeling the car lurch, Tsurugi held onto Armen from her position.
"I hope she's okay. Let's see how your mom takes care of Zianna. I saw that she packed those buckets and shovels. I think she's going to love today the most."
Eos was smiling fondly now.
"I miss those days too.. now we have work and college and all these responsibilities that mom doesn't need to help us anymore. I'm sure that by the end of the day, she'll calm Zianna down some."
"Yeah. Life sucks. But we gotta get done what needs to be done."
Vergil claimed as he began to drive out of the neighborhood.
"Oh yeah! We've been thinking about something!
Seeing as how Vergil, Bremis, Aria, Sylvia, and I have amazingly well paying jobs, we thinking about buying a bigger house with a bunch of room! And wanted you girls, Eris, and Ayn to leave with us! (Since these nine are the main characters of the high school story and another story I'm working on.)
I mean, if that's okay with you all."
The bluenette added as he held on to Tsurugi.
"Again, we aren't gonna force you girls to do anything you don't want to do."
"I'm interested.. go on."
Eos turned so that she was inwardly facing the other three.
"Like.. live, live? I don't know how mom will feel about that... then again, I'll always have my room... and then I'll have to move out of my apartment near my University.."
Tsurugi was more or less speaking to herself, but she was glad she was well off with money.
"How much are you planning for rent? And I'm not sure Ayn and Eris are into that.. they're introverts, but I guess if we're there...."
"Ayn's going to be there?? Yes! She's got to help me with my pivot."
"Yeah, I've got some knives to get to her. She gave them to me to sharpen, and stuff."
"Ohhh you boys are in for a treat! You get to see Tsu-Tsu in her uniform, both college and work. They're both fitting."
Winking, the goddess brushed her hair to the side.
"Oh hush. You're just going to blind the neighbors when you go to work.."
"It all depends on.."
Armen's eyes began to glow.
Sylvia connected her mind with Armen's.
"What is it?"
"Zianna and Iris is acting strange.."
"What's wrong?"
"Everytime the two argue, it's like I can see their other forms popping out.."
"The fox and the demon?"
"That's right. We need to keep Iris and Zianna away from each other at all times today."
"Alright. Teleport Zianna over here."
The two minds disconnected and the bluenette's eyes stopped glowing.
"Yo, Vergil. We need to make a stop."
"Why?"
"Sylvia is teleporting Zianna over here."
"Why?"
The bluenette sighed.
"She and Iris keep arguing, and a certain something keeps showing everytime."
"Yesss! Watch, now I'm going to spoil her rotten. Before we even make it to the beach, she's going to be put somewhat at ease."
"I can't with children. Oh dear."
Feeling anxious, Tsurugi made a move so that Zianna could sit between them.
"If she wants, she can sit on you. It'd be safer that way."
Offered the brunette.
"Or I could meet you all there. I'll be fine."
"No, stay. It'll be.."
Once again, Armen was cut off.
This time, by the whitette kit being teleported right on to Armen's lap.
"I guess stopping isn't necessary. Stay on the road, Vergil."
"I know, Rex."
"Hai everyone!"
The whitette kit greeted as she sat on Armen's lap.
"Why are you and my sister fighting?"
"She's annoying!"
"But that doesn't mean you have to fight."
"Hmph!"
Zianna crossed her arms and started to look out the window. She slowly rolled down the window and held her head outside of it.
"Hey girlie~"
Greeted the blonde.
"Hi Zianna. And.. and don't worry. My brother and I fight a lot. Even now."
Attempting to lighten the mood and to actually talk to the child, Tsurugi also brought her own set of fox ears out.
"Oohh! Good idea Zianna-chan, if I'd done that, Tsurugi would probably scold me.."
Eos' eyes shone brilliantly as she watched the little girl.
"Uh, the police wouldn't approve."
"Auntie Eos!"
The kit climbed over the chair and sat on Eos' lap.
"Oh, Hai Ms. Tsurugi!"
