The air was warm and dry, still cooling off after the setting of the sun. It was late June, the green leaves on the trees rustling in the breeze, awakening the sleeping forest. Undergrowth hid the crickets as they played their rhythmic song. It hadn't rained in a few days, and the plants yearned for a proper rain. But the night sky showed no sign of clouds. A full moon and thousands upon thousands of stars shone brightly in the darkening sky. Underneath the starry sky, along with the woods, was a small pond, its water dark. Stars reflected upon it's smooth and untouched surface. A man stood on its shore, looking down at the water with great envy and curiosity. His hair was rather long and grey, but from the look of his exposed hands, he was quite young. He wore a black jacket over a plain white t-shirt, along with some grey sweatpants and some rugged-looking converse. He wore a mask, with a face that looked like it was taken out of a horror movie. The mouth was red and curved into a creepy smile. The eyes looked intimidating and narrowed. The rest was plain white. He leaned down to pick up a medium-sized rock on the shore. The rock was skinny and smooth; perfect for skipping across water. And that's exactly what the man did. He threw the rock at a slightly tilted angle. The rock hit the water and skipped a few times before plunging into the deep, cold depths of the pond water. The man chuckled as he watched the rock sink to the bottom of the pond. "I don't know specifically who you are. I don't know where you are. But I must find you, my perfect specimen...Eyes as blue as sapphires, and the knowledge of someone twice his age. The son of a royal demon...Two royal demons, if I'm correct. A demon prince. I will find you. I'll finally see you again, Wendy, my love!" The man exclaimed to himself. He looked at his own reflection in the water. His mask didn't waver his confidence one bit. "I'm coming for you, little demon boy. Just you wait."
