97 years ago a nuclear war eradicated all life from earth. The planet is uninhabitable and overrun with radiation. Luckily the human race did not die out. There were 12 space stations orbiting at the time of the war and together they formed one joint station, The Ark. Their sole purpose was to keep the human race alive and 97 years later, here we are.

But it isn't that simple. The Ark's oxygen is limited. Slowly, we're running out of air so we have to be harsh and tough decisions have to made. Here any crime is punishable by death if you are over 18 years old, if not you're sent to the sky box to live out the rest of your days until they float you.

One of the harsh rules that are in place here on The Ark is that each family can only have one child. Any mother pregnant for the second time will be floated, if a mother carries twins they're aborted. Or they're supposed to be.
