Friend Zoned

Alfie

We stare into each other's eyes for ages until I'm pulled away by Joe. I walk next to this heart throb and pick up his name. Alfie. I sit next to the woman named Tanya. We talk away happily and laugh so much I'm in tears. We plan to meet again and I start talking to Alfie.
"Are you ok?" He says getting a napkin and hands it to me.
"Yeah why?" I say
He nods to my hand and I wife the blood away reveling a deep, long cut down the palm of my palm.

Gasp

I excuse myself from the table and walk to the bathroom washing the blood fully away. I rummage through my bag looking for a plaster. "Zoe?" Tanya comes in handing me a plaster frowning at the cut on my hand. She hands me some cream and I smear it on squinting as the sting crawls up my arm I cone the cut up and nip to the loo before going back to the table.
"How is it?" Alfie asks
"Not to good.." I say starring at the hot, red blood slowly staining the plaster.
"That needs looking at!" Tanya says patting my other hand.

After exchanging numbers with Alfie me and Joe leave.

Alfies pov:
I stare at Zoe walking out the cafe chatting to Joe. I fall in love hoping to see her smile once again. I could see her look back at us and wave. I wave back. Turn around then turn back. She's gone.
