Chapter 3:His Childhood Lover

*Jeonghan's Pov*

"You're dressed up today,we're you going? "

My brother asked me when I got out of my room wearing a jeans and checkered along with my book.

"Uhm,I was just planning to go at the statue near the church."

"You alone?"

"Yup"

I answered.

"Want me to take you there?you might get lost on your way."

Here we go again with that word called "overprotective".

"Nah,I'm good,besides,you see the clock now S.coupsey?You're running late for work!"

"You love giving me a lot of nicknames but you hate it when I give you one?Where's the justice? "

"You can find it in the court Coupsy,toodles!"

I turned my back and wave my hands while walking.

"Fine!but please, be careful!"

I heard him shouted.

It was a nice day today to read my book near my favorite statue. This place reminds me a lot when I was a little kid.

It all turned out not so happy when that creature run without a proper goodbye. Just the letter he left here near the statue with that bracelet.

I hope he still remember what today is.

I opened my book and started to read it's first page.After maybe fifteen pages my eyes begun to get heavy. I yawned,placing my book onto my lap with my head on tap of it.I think I should get a nap for a while.

*Mingyu's Pov*

Aish,where could this place is really!!? I think this is my tenth times circling on the same place.

I was looking for a statue near a church but because of being bad at directions I got lost.

"Mmm excuse me ma'am,do you know where this place is?"

I asked a lady who was just passing by.

"Oh,make a turn to your left after three blocks then you'll see a gate,enter there and you'll be walking for two minutes until you reach that statue."

"Thank you"I bowed my head and proceed walking.Following his instructions.

Not a moment too soon,I reached the statue.I sat next to a person who was sleeping, I think?

After a moment, I saw her woke up.I think she's a girl because of her hair.

She looked at me with a surprised eye and moved a little bit far away from me.

She started reading her book while I just look at her.

I'm tempted to touch her hair and tie it but I'm shy to say it.

"U-u e-excuse me,y-you were holding my h-hair"

I heard she said and to my surprise I was really holding it.I took off my hand.

"I-I'm s-sorry,I'm just tempted to tie it,m-may I? "

"U-uh okay?"

"Really!?"

"Yeah?"

I got up from sitting and move at his back. I started to stroke some of her hair.

*Jeonghan's Pov*

He's good.He's hands are light amd gentle.

"Y-you know,you were like my friend who love to play with my hair."

I broke the silence.

"Really!?I also used to have a friend who has a long and beautiful hair like you,and you know what,I told him not to cut his hair too short so I can still tie it for him."

I was a bit surprise on what he said.

"T-that was the same thing what my friend told me.We always play here together when we were still kids.He always bring a lot of ponytail for me..."

"What's the name of your friend?"

"Well I call him stylist Gyumin and he calls m--...

"Rapunzel? "

I was shocked when I heard that from him.

"How'd you know!!?"

"Can I take a look both of your wrist?"

I let him hold my wrist while the idea was still sinking on my mind.

"I-It was you!!"

He said.

"H-huh?"

"You're my Rapunzel!!! I remember this bracelet along with the letter I placed near the statue when the day me and my family left here."

I was still dump founded on what he said.I still can't imagine that the kid who said on the letter will come back to this place whem he grow up to look for his Rapunzel again.

"M-Mingyu?"

"You've remember my name, oh thank goodness you still remember me."

He hugged me tight.

"C-can't breath!! "

"Oooppss sorry Jeonghan,I was just too happy that you remember me."

"How could I forget that little kid who just left a letter with a bracelet on it near a statue without even a proper goodbye? "

I raised my eyebrow and pouted.

*Mingyu's Pov*

He's still the same Jeonghan I knew when we were still kids.

"Now, now, don't be angry, look I'm sorry, it's just we need to leave immediately that's why.Didn't I promise at the letter that I'll find you when I grew up and now I'm here.On the exact day we first met."

I saw a little smile on his face that makes me happy. There's one thing I'm sure now.I won't let my Rapunzel lost again.

I hugged him again and let out a smile.

"Thank you for keeping your promise "

I heard him said that.

"No,thank you for believing to me."
