Illyana pulled Tharaos down into a deep, passionate kiss, startling the woman above her before she responded, kissing back as she easily dominated the royal. Pulling back for air, Tharaos smirked,

"Getting a little too attached my liege, or do you not remember your own words~" She whispered gruffly into Illyana's ear. Making her shiver before looking into the younger woman's eyes, unsure and searching.

"Be my king?" Tharaos' blood ran cold, but she faked thinking about it even though she knew the answer. The sight of Tharaos' steely, emotionless expression made worry churn in Illyana's gut for some reason unknown to her.

"Tharaos?" she asked. Her voice much smaller and meeker than normal. The knight buried her face into the Queen's neck, kissing it to try and warm her blood again despite loathing the woman beneath her for destroying her village. She placed a fake, convincing smile on and kissed her lover on the lips.

"Why me. There's plenty of men you could choose from." She laughed bitterly,

"What man would show me kindness or love." She spat, then her voice softened when she addressed the knight, her hand resting on the woan's cheek tenderly,

"But you, you've shown me more love than I deserve." Tharaos sighed. The hardest part of a mission like this was not getting attached.

"What would the people say, knowing you married a lowly knight." Illyana simply shook her head,

"They already hate me, so it does not matter." She said sadly, "I raise taxes for our military to protect the people and they grow angry. I eliminate our enemies before they can start their attack and they call me heartless." Tears began to stream down her face,

"I was raped by my father, my uncle and all of their sons to 'teach' me a lesson because I publicly spoke out against my father and uncle's plans to make into some baby making peace treaty for some fat slob. My mother was out spending time with my little sister, but she knew. She knew and didn't do anything to stop it." She was full on sobbing now as Tharaos held her, trying to comfort, "I was only 14 and they showed no remorse at doing so. All of my friends abandoned me since I had to distance myself to cope with the pain of betrayal." Her knight stayed silent after this new shock of information. Running it over through her mind over and over and couldn't help growing angry. Only she hid it expertly.

"Why did you destroy the village of Thespain?" she asked softly, figuring now was the time for the answer. The Queen looked down,

"I never ordered my general to do that. My brother Teo conspired with my general to overthrow me and the only way to do that was to make it seem like I attacked that village. He wanted a reason to wage war against my kingdom so he did it in the form of 'helping' them get revenge. And it worked. I was down a great general and on the brink of defeat.....the people got mad when I offered their slaves freedom and guaranteed citizenship and jobs to fight a war I never wanted. I had a kingdom of over ten thousand citizens and my soldiers were either dying or abandoning me for the stronger side. No one wanted to protect their homes so I had to do what I had to..... I gained favor from the previous slaves. They fought hard in my name and managed to win. So I honored my deal and offered them a village of their own or homes here in the city." she sighed, "I trust none with my life but you. If you became my king I wouldn't have to worry about you abusing the power, the people nor me." She said quietly, looking into Tharaos' molten gold and fiery red eyes with her own tired blue ones. I know I said no attachments, yet no matter how hard I tried...I couldn't help but fall in love with you. Out of my four previous lovers...only you put my pleasure before your own, your touch alone sets my body on fire," she looked at Tharaos sadly, turning to look away,"But I will understand if you simply wish to be my knight...or if you should wish to leave......either way the offer will always stand."
